Need help - What guage for oil based AAS?

First off, 1.5 is the length -- the needle is 1 and 1/2 inches long. And you are right, the higher the number the smaller the pin (in diamater). A 23 ga 1.5 pin is good for most glute and quad shots. Personally, I like a 25 ga, 1 inch for quads, 25 ga, 1.5 for glutes, and 25 ga, 5/8 for delts. Haven't had any problems as of yet with those figures. The pin is a bit small to push out the oil, but I found it helps to hold the vial in my hand to warm the oil before I inject. Also works well with things like test suspension.

and to draw from the vile, you use the same guage?
I know you should use a different needle, but same guage?

no a bigger needle to draw up

Otherwise with the same gauge it is not THAT important to shoot with the same needle.

By the way go for 25 g and 1 inch.

TripleV,
For drawing you can use as large a needle as you have. The larger the needle the less time it will take you to draw the oil up. I use 20G 1.5's. However, if you only have smaller needles it is ok to use them......it just takes a while longer.

After drawing up, remove the needle and replace with the one you will use to shoot. This makes it easier as just rubbing the drawing needle against the glass makes it blunt. Blunt needles make sore injections.

The 25G 1inch should be used for shooting. The oil will take longer to go through this needle but it will hurt less than a big needle. I think 23G needles are also good (thats what I use).

I hope that makes it clear. If not, you can pm me and I'll answer any questions.

Later.
