It's all downhill from here...
My girlfriend is hell-bent on avoiding beef no matter the circumstance. She fears contracting CJD (a disease supposedly linked to consumption of beef that has tainted with the mad cow disease). Now... I'm not in the least bit worried about contracting this disease, as I have no fear of being stuck by lightening, abducted/probed by aliens, etc. The probability is just way too low.
So how can I convince her that steaks, jerky, etc. is safe? Does anybody have any articles/websites they know of with information?
The irony of this situation will be when she gets sick from eating undercooked chicken.
