Need help, looking for GI specialist.

I figure this would be a decent place to start looking.

I have a close friend who just ended up in the hospital the other day because of some gastrointestinal problems.

He's had everything checked out (cat scans, colonoscopy, episcopy, bloodwork, etc) and all of the hack docs out here are brushing him off like he's making it up.

I've seen this stuff happen to him, he'll eat something wrong and get crazy severe migranes & all that comes along with gastrointestinal problems.

Boards like this helped me find a great doctor (Dr. Crisler) for my TRT requirements & I'm hoping that someone here might be able to point me to a forum or excellent doctor that knows what the hell they're doing in regards to GI problems.

I'm sure some of you heard about the whole hepatitis outbreak at the GI clinics here in Vegas thanks to them re-using needles for several years... those are the kind of docs we're dealing with out here.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! By the way, traveling to establish a relationship with the right doctor is no problem at all.

Hey there, not meaning to steal post, but I am looking for an "OPEN" doc that I can talk to about using that doesn't bash the idea into a pulp, in the Chicago area. TY.

Sounds like your friend has a food allergy. Any certain foods that cause the problem? I'm assuming your friend has kept a food diary.
