Need Advice

I recently moved to a new location and today my roommate called and said that 2 guys with badges came to the door and asked for me, identifying themselves as FDA. They said they were looking for me in regards to a siezed international package with illegal contents. My roommate informed them that I had moved and they said "Back to .....?" Which is my home town. My roommate said he wasn't sure.

I'm freaking out here. I just graduated and landed a huge job. I'm leaving tomorrow for a one week vacation. Do you think there is a warrant for my arrest? They didn't mention it to him but don't siezures usually result in a letter and not agents personally knocking on your door?! Any advice would be GREAT! So many things are flying through my head right now.

Thats a little odd, also depends on the size of your order and if they are trying to get info on the source. Id clean house, computer, anything you might have with info about any purchases, any gear related stuff, and you can always try the denial route and say you dont know anything about it, but if they sent agent...it might be a little late.

Weird that the FDA would be coming to your door unless it is part of a larger investigation. Sounds like they are gathering info, your best bet is to of course, admit to nothing, you don't know anything. And clean house/comp etc.

That's what I thought. I asked my roommate but he said he had just woke up but was pretty sure they said FDA. Wouldn't they have told him if they had a warrant?

No, they will ask if you are there and not say why because they dont want you to run. They can only serve the warrent to you after they verify you are who they are looking for.

I got arrested (false charges) they said they were county police, asked my name, asked if I spelled my first name with 2 "t's", then told me they had a warrent for my arrest.

Just speculating, it sounds out of the ordinary, but given the fact it happened in this way and in this manner they knew you are gone

So why make it more difficult for all parties by scaring you underground

Consider what they may have been misled to believe and that may explain the nature of their inquiry, of course everyone on this board knows you have a reputation for staying away from performance enhancing drugs and any evidence to the contrary was written for entertainment purposes

There are resources available to check if you have any warrants but cost $, it also sounds like you may not have one

Again the tools these guys have at their disposal are unreal and they are very smart guys be safe

Does the FDA do roid investigations... I thought they just determined whether something was controlled or not... I would go ahead and determine if you have a warrant and then contact Rick Collins... I hope all goes well bro... I hope there wasn't too much candy in your package... I've been hearing more and more of these stories, maybe its time for me to get out...
