Need advice

newbie210

I have to decide what I want to branch in the Army and I've always wanted to do infantry but today I was told Armor or FA would be a better choice because I can only score a 280 on the PT. Max push ups, and sit ups but my run is only a 14:30. I honestly think its becasue I started taking Vitamin S but now I have to decide to stay on or get off. To make it worse a buddy of mine asked if I was interested in training for a show next year, he's helped a few ppl walk on stage.

I thought by taking EQ I would be able to maintain my run but I'm struggling with the extra weight, any advice?

Test E 1-12 500mg/wk
EQ 1-12 600mg/wk
Winny 1-4 50mg/ed
8-12 100mg/ed

This is my first cycle.

Are you on this cycle now?If so how far into it are you?How much weight have you gained so far? What was your run like before cycle?

You don't have to max your PT for infantry. If you are set on going infantry & are set on maxing your PT test, you can get your run to where it needs to be by training for it. It is noble to go infantry and I have the utmost respect for them but, if you are looking to build a base for the civilian world at some point, I would highly suggest picking an MOS that will apply to the civilian world. Signal promotes very well & pays pretty good once you get out of the service. I was a mechanic while I was in & it has worked out great for me.

In my case I have to max, they usually only take extended scale PTers, not to mention I feel like crap getting smoked by the younger ones

Cycle looks good,

Diet, training is key for your stats,

Stay away from the infantry,

Go Airborne,

Ranger,

and then Medic 91b20

Ft. Sam, San Antonio Texas,

Lots of jobs available as a medic, ambulance driver, or nurse, scrub,

Some of use even ended up in sales.

Thats 5 times as much gear as I took on my first cycle, just For perspective

Get your lean weight under 200,

230 is great if it is muscle,

But since this is your first cycle,

I suspect you are wrestling with baby fat, dump it, before you do too much more.

Change your diet, read the boards,

And stay away from Ft. Polk, La.

Solid cycle

1) Good cycle

2) GO INFANTRY, then Airborne, Ranger, get your EIB and all of the nice medals you can over in the dust bowl. You can't get shit if you are enlisted and fucking around in another MOS unless you get real lucky.

3) If eventually you decide to make a career of the Army reclassify from the Infantry to something else (like Medic or Aviation). Those MOS's are easier on the body.

I went infantry when I first went in and it was worth it. I ended up reclassifying because I wanted an education etc. all of the fun schools (airborne, ranger, air assault) are easier if you are in the Infantry (or SF of course).

If the infantry is not your thing just reclassify when you re-enlist (if you decide to re-enlist).

Airborne!

that's the thing all I want is infantry and yes I would get all the high speed schools.

Thanks for the info but I still need some advice about getting my runs down and balancing the gear
