Witch means they can not use it in a court of law.

That's what I was thinking. I'm no lawyer, but w/ out a warrant I don't see how that would ever stand up. I'll put it this way, they were in the house for a medical emergency along w/ the peremedics (the emergency had nothing to do w/ steroids) but they started searching and found his stuff. He was not there and had no idea that this was happening. Now they want to charge him w/ possession.

Just get a good lawyer...anyone decent and you will end up with 3 yrs drug offender probation..thats it..even giving up busted sources wont do much, they will eventually find out, and ratting wont get him completely out b/c they have as long as 7 yrs on felonies to come back and charge you as far as the statute of limitations...

Another thing is that the incident happened the beginning of Oct. and he hears nothing until today. They call him and say that they want to talk to him about some of the things they found in his room. He goes down and they start making threats. He tells them he will not cooperate and the meeting ends immediately.

It's not that simple holy. This was not his fault, just an unforunate situation that happened to bite him in the ass.

I'm not gonna get into details, but lets say a "friend" of mine was recently busted w/ possesion of anabolic androgenic steroids. It doesn't really matter how, it was just some bad luck and some unfortunate events. LE says that if he is willing to cooperate then he may get off, and by cooperate he means sources, sites and addy's. He says absolutely not. But then he gets to thinking, what if he handed over addys of only busted labs or scammer websites? He could come up w/ enough to keep them running around in circles for a year. He would rather go to jail than jeopordize in anyway any source that is actually legit and still running.

Give me some advice for my "freind" bros.

Dude cops lie, I was in a situation with the cops no drugs or alcohol kinda a messed up story that I don't want to get into, but even though I didn't do anything wrong and told them the truth they told me at the time that nothing was going to happen to me and I probably would just walk out of there with nothing. BULLSHIT! Thats all I have to say, luckily the lawyer I hired was the mentor to the Prosecutor. They tried to throw me under the bus. I ended up with just community service when I should've had nothing cuz NO LAWS were even broken. Never talk to cops without a lawyer present. Plain and simple, and don't tell them shit. Even labs that were busted. F-Them! If he was busted and just a user he won't be in too much trouble, but if he's dealing it could be a problem.

Dude thats awesome tell him not to say a word, no busted labs are nothing. Without a search warrant he's pretty much safe cuz they can't use that in a court of law. If they were smart they would've found it and then got a search warrant and came back, thats the only way. They can't bring his stuff in as evidence thats why they are calling him and trying to get him to incriminate himself. HE SHOULD SAY NOTHING AT ALL, again unless a lawyer is present. Legally they can't use the shit that they found, it was an illegal search and seizure.

Bro..all he has to do is say he knows nothing about it and it is not his, doesnt know how it got there, especially if he wasnt even there when they seized it.....etc.etc., unless he has already cracked and said it was his then hes got a problem, im no attorney but I am pretty versed on the law... been retired for 2 yrs now and was on the job for 20............fl2tn
