Need Advice For Trap Development

OKAY SO MY TRAPS SUCK AND AT 6'6" I NEED TO HAVE SOME MAJOR BIG TRAPS. ALL ADVICE WANTED. I HAVE THE ABILITY TO HIT THE GYM PRETTY MUCH 24/7 SINCE I AM IN THE MARINES SO ANY ADVICE ON HOW TO BLAST THEM INTO GROWING IS WANTED!!!!
 
Well, Lobo told me I needed to come reply to this thread.

Since I don't really train my traps, in the traditional sense, I will just tell you that mine only look like that after deadlifting. I also do alot of rows and kelso shrugs. I rarely do any upright shrugs or they will grow so fast my shoulders look sloped.

Something to consider is that the hunk of meat on each side of your neck is the LEAST of your traps. Your traps go down to the middle of your back and all the way over to the shoulder blades for insertion. Just something to think about when choosing movements.

SHRUG drop sets!!!!!!!!!!!! Traps are a fast twitch muscle, just like calves, so you need to go until failure with a lot of volume. Good thing is that they grow very quickly once you find your rhythm.
