Need advice for overwieght friend

Alright everyone this is my first time posting on this board, but is actually for advice for a friend. To start with he is most assuredly on the heavy side. 5'8" at 245lbs. The problem lies in the fact that he can't seem to lose wieght and I am at my wits end for advice. He plays rugby, does cardio enough to make me puke, along with an impeccable diet. His profession is a physical therapist (thats how I met him, go figure) and he knows how to train others and himself, I just can't figure out why nothing works. clen, winstrol, ECA stacks nothing works. He wants me to design him a cycle to help gain some muscle (for rugby mainly) and be able shed some excess wieght. My ideas are something as follows.

Sustanon 500mg wk 1-12
Eq 400mg wk 1-12
win 50mg eod 6-12
clen cycled throughout 2wk on 2 off

I am hoping that the extra lean muscle and juice will up his metabolism enough to cut down but I am skeptical.

Thanks for any input on my imaginary friend and ideas.

Based on what you've posted my first thought is thyroid problem. Has he discussed this with a doctor? Based on what he has tried I would surely want to get this resolved before even thinking about a cycle.

I agreee

Sorry I should have posted that. he has been to the doc about thyroid levels test levels and pretty much everything has checked out within normal ranges. His whole family is overwieght so its got to be genetic. I think he may be a lost cause.

Hey Bro-

PLEASE don't take this the wrong way, but there seems to be something weird with this whole thread.... If the friend you're getting advice for won't even log online and research himself, how do you expect him to take care of his own weight issue; Just a rehtorical question really.

You seem to have covered all the issues and gone straight to asking about a cycle. No thyroid problems, sickening rates of cardio; I'm not an M.D., yet, but it seems physiologically impossible for a human not to drop weight when he's allegedly burning more calories than his daily chaloric intake; From your post, I assume this is the issue; He's got the diet and exercise thing going, right?

I agree with the other guys here; I wouldn't even THINK about a cycle for this person, especially if he's never done one; until you know what the problem is. As a very close friend of his, which you must be, I would steer him away from any type of steroid use until he gets some attention for what apparently is a very complex and troubling medical problem.

Good luck! We all need friends like you.

If he's gotten a complete physical and his thyroid levels are ok, the only other things I can think of (given what you've posted) is an eating disorder or a gross mis-calculation of daily caloric intake vs. maintenance level. Seriously think about it - clean diet, calorie deficit, training and cardio - there is no way he cannot be losing body fat. The only explanation is that he's eating things he's not telling, or he's eating more than his daily maintenance level. In either case, it needs to be resolved prior to considering any type of cycle.
