Need a Routine!!!

Up until recently I've pretty much had a 5 on/2 off split (with variances every so often). Now my schedule has gotten crazier than ever, and I find myself unsure of what days I can make it into the gym. I usually hate doing full body workouts being that I like to try and isolate muscle groups each time, but I don't think I'm going to be able to structure a split over the next couple of months. Does anyone have a good full body routine that I can hit say 3 times a week in the interim until I can get back to my regular split? I don't want to sacrifice a whole lot of strength or size.....but it's already starting to happen after these last 3 weeks (see my journal- I've only been in once). The good news is, this should work well in conjunction with my current goal of cutting. Any suggestions on the structure of a typical full body workout? Should it be just 2 exercises per muscle group? Is it better to do an upper and lower body split if possible? Should I still be chasing poundages regardless, or should I stay moderate and up the intensity? Please help.

Have ya tried HST yet?

Ya can check out my journal for the general workout and like I just posted for "halfaclue";

" As far as my journal goes 15's are boring and light but do for us what they are intended to; things start to get exciting for us generally next week.
You'll start to notice next week during the second week of our 10's we may add an excersise or two for a certain body part if we feel it wasn't hit very well (for example if our delts were'nt feeling hammered from Bench and weighted dips we'll throw in a set of Military Presses) Also during our second week of 10's and on through our 5's we may throw in some drop sets on a certain excercises,...trick we found doing drops though is not to take them to failure. Listen to your body and when it says quite,..do so, otherwise yer gonna fry your CNS. Speaking only for myself & training partner, HST does add a lot of strength for us and our 5's may last for up to 4 weeks before starting our two weeks of negatives."

As far as cutting goes, I do believe halfaclue will be using HST for cutting before his comp and he can probably clue ya in more on that.

Yeah, I thought about using HST back in the summer time, but started crushin PR's for a minute and decided to put it on hold. Right now I can't get into HST because I don't know how often I'm going to be able to get into the gym.....I don't want to start a training routine that I can't strictly commit to. I'm looking more for suggestions on key exercises to rotate on a workout to workout basis that will provide somewhat efficient development. Keep in mind, I could have 3-5 day stretches in between without hitting any weights. It fuckin sucks, but this is the way it's gotta be for the next couple of months. I'm thinking revert back to core lifts with very minimal isolation exercises. Any other suggestions?

Doggcrap -- workout a, workout b.

Alternate between them.

a. would be something like
back, bis, quads, hams

b. would be something like
chest, shoulder, tri, calve

Try HST bro, I actually kind of liked it to break up the manotany of stand ole splits, plus you hit all muscles 3 times a week, you do them fast and furiously, so your heart rate is up there, your only in the gym for abotu 45 mins to an hour, and you hit it 3 times a week, then you can do cardio as much as you want, and shit it is actually kind of fun, especially if you want to cut anyways!!

Peace
