Ok...
I have this workstation running Win XP.

As the Administrator I can add this PC payment program and it runs fine.

When I log on as the User, I cant access the program but have the shortcut for it. It reads: "Cannot Access the parameter file"

I went adhead and made it a power user...same thing.

CAn anyone please get me pointed in the right direction?

usually when you install programs like that on XP it will ask you if you want available for everyone or just the Administrator.
The docs for the program should say what rights it needs assuming it's XP-aware. You might need to add the user to the server operator group or something.

thanks for the resposes:)

I did go into the HKey Local Machine registry, under the software section and made gave the users all the possible rights?

I wanst prompted with anything from XP asking me which users to make it available for unfortunately:( They are using SQP server on a Win2k server machine, is their any place in there I might check out?

Thanks again bros

Some things have to be installed while you are signed on as the user who will actually be using it. While signed on as the user, open the folder with the install program, hold down the shift key, right click the setup icon and choose "Run as" from the context menu that pops up. enter the admin username and password and then install the program.

That usually takes care of these type problems.
