Need a good Meal Replacement, Considering Big Blast

I need something quicker and easier for work. I'm considering changing my Big Blast from post work out only to post work out and twice at work and only one food meal at work.

Thoughts on Big Blast as a meal replacer, if not what would be a good meal replacement shake?
 
Eh....cap, you're a smart dude. I'm sure you can whey(Get it) the pros and cons of both, and make it work.
Either way you're still a badass who I try to emulate.
 
You're cutting right?

Whey/casien, almonds, and an apple would be a better choice imo.
 
if your cutting get some isopure bottles. if your not cutting use bb.
 
You guys are so good you remembered i was cutting. I'm starting to rethink the cutting though. Given everything I am taking (Beast/Katana, Dermacrine, T3) I think my body would benefit better from Big Blast. I feel so flat and lethargic without carbs, plus working nights and only getting about 4-5hrs sleep/night the low carb compounds the lethargy. I think I'm going to go back to a normal diet and use BB 3-4 times per day.

If you've been runnin a ultra low carb for like 3 or 4 weeks take a break and eat maintenence. I did the low carb for 4 and at the end of week 4 I was feeling flat and pretty lethargic. So I went back to maintenence on The PCT end of the SHredder Stack I've like quadrupled my carb intake, and just do a AM mini workout, and as of this morning when I woke up I could see the tendon like cuts in my abs.....I'm not shittn ya I'm probably at like 6%.....I'm shedding up like crazy. In another 2 or 3 weeks I'll go to the UD2 just to switch it up again....I aint even taking any fat burners....just the daily supps...

How often are you refeeding?

I think the constant spikes in blood sugar from all that dextrose would make matters worse.

I was doing two day refeeds, but this week I went back to moderate carbs, had sweet potatoes all week with broc and chicken.

Ya the dextrose was one of my concerns with using BB as a meal replacement which was why I was asking in the first place, thanks SL. Unfortunately the only meal replacements out there are Myoplex or MetRX unless i make a custom blend at Protein Factory. PF has a meal replacement formula but I haven't looked at the ratios really
 
I've had good results at PF making a custom MRP. Use BB for PWO only these days. I like the oatmuscle stuff, a little sweet but it's solid. My Favorite MRP mix is 30 casein, 40 Whey, 10 Oatmuscle and 10 omegamuscle, 5 CLA and 5 amino's. It's pricey, but it's good stuff..good for quick meals as it mixes easily in a shaker.

Why not a Whey/Casein blend, an apple, and an ounce of almonds? This is typically my second meal of the day.

It's not as convenient as a all in one mrp shake, but you will not find a shake with the same nutritional value. Even BB.

I'll give it a shot. I'm either going to wait for Need2's whey or give the LG Lipotropic Protein a try. Trader Joe's has the serving size bags of almonds in a bulk bag I'll get a bunch of those for work

Have you tried Myofusion yet? :)
 
I looked at myofusion...looks interesting but I just decided to go with PF custom formula. Big Blast I save for Post workout and add a little sunny delight to bring the carbs up a bit and it's golden. I really like the taste of protein formulations with oat muscle and Omega muscle at PF, i get the CLA powder and oat muscle helps cover the nasty taste of it. protein factory stuff is expensive, but I've found it well worth it.

Been doing this for the last 4 days and its surprisingly filling. I like not being hungry for about 2-2.5 hours, but not feeling stuffed. Abs feel flat and not bloated. In this instance, flat is good.

2 scoops protein (in an emergency i bought some BSN Syntha-6 locally, just got my Myofusion in the mail today)
1 one ounce bag of almonds (Trader Joe's has large bags with packaged 1oz. bags of almonds)
1 apple

That's basically my 2nd meal of the day on days I'm outta chicken! Works well and it's satisfying.
