near death

Hey Guys,
It has been a long time since I have posted. After my last cycle of dbol with proper pct I was feeling weak. I thought it was just from coming off the roids. It turned out My thyroid failed and was nearly fatal. I should have got to the doctor more quickly than I did but never the less, I almost died. I don't know for sure if it have to do with the roids, but I wanted to throw it out there. Probably off for life.

Egad, sorry to hear that bro. I remember back in March we were both doing essentially the same cycle. Hope you bounce back strong and natural.

Bump for any connection between gear and thyroid issues.

holy shit brother. Im happy that we are ok or recovering now!! Let us know how things develop. Did the doc say anything about lifting for the rest of your life?

Have you taken alot of T3 or HGH in your past?

They put me on synthroid. I'm feeling better , but not ready to even touch weights. Lucky to be speaking and walking right now. It was a real mother fucker. I lost hearing, lost my balance, could not speak without sounding drunk, intestinal problems, concentration problems, etc. The thyroid may be small but it will kick your ass

my girl takes synthroid and had the same problems she lost some of her memory and still cant remember some things about the past. she couldnt speak gight was tired all the time and all the things you mentioned. her memory still isnt as good as it was and if she forgets to take her meds it is noticeable. i have to keep on her all the time to take it. she has never taken any drugs unless otc od doc perscribed. that chit is serious. good luck bro

I highly doubt simple gear usage would have caused this. It's unlikely your thyroid would fail to that degree even WITH T3 and GH abuse... more likely genetic predisposition. Regardless, I wish you the best bro. Hang in there, when you can hit the weights again, no matter how light you go, you'll feel 100% better!

Thanks for all the responses. Hopefully I can start going light in a couple of weeks. Someone asked if I told my Dr about the roids. I did'nt. I know I should have but I did'nt feel like listening to any more bullshit. Everyone I know was bugging me to get to a Dr because my symtoms were so obvious. I'm not aware of any study linkihg roids with serious thyroid problems, but my body was telling me different. Mabey just in my imagination, not sure. Thanks again for the support and good to be back to the board.

PS You guys don't even want to know what I threw in garbage because I was so freaked out.

sorry to hear that bro. but, let me ask the question AGAIN, were you using T-3???

My doc warned me of the use of t-3 for these specific reasons.. just curious.

I agree. You were probably genetically predisposed to having a thyroid problem. I almost died when I was 14 from it. It sucked.

I was using dbol, nolvadex & clomid only. Also tylers & milk thiste. Tons of protien. Intense training. Nothing else.

sorry to hear about that man. keep your head up if you have to stay natural then do that you can only improve from here out. good luck.

wow, I can't imagine any of those causing a thyroid condition. Did you doctor give you any ideas why it just failed? I hope you get better and feel better :)

Thanks for the response. The Dr had no explaination of what caused it. I believe I probably had a predisposition for this already and mabey the roids kicked it in. I did not mention the roids to the Dr. I was not in the mood for the roids will kill you speech or look what roids did to you. I'm going to start working out again soon. Feeling stronger mentally and physically everyday. I don't know if I'll juice again, but you never know. I'm already starting to feel pissed about the nice stash I threw out.

This morning I went out to the gym and tried to test my body a little. Very, Very weak. It sucks. I'm going to gradually try to work out longer and heavier. I think it's going to be slow progress. If things go well I might try some type of short cycle

Well guys it's been a long uphill climb, but I'm back to working out pretty hard and I'm considering starting a cycle again. FYI

Apologize if this is double post. I am finally back to working out hard after a long uphill climb. I may start cycle soon. Good to be back.

Glad to hear you're on the road to recovery. Several years ago I was involved in a serious car accident & actually used AAS to help with my recovery (after exhausing all 'traditional' medical recovery techniques), so getting back on a light cycle may actually help your recovery.

I guy i know knocked out his thyroid with T-3 and now he has a free supply of it from his doctor for life !!

With T-3 you can either take to much or just be plain unlucky and both instances can and will cause permant damage to the gland .

He was in the same boat as you mentioned but not smart enough to get help till it was to late and ended up in the back of an ambulance getting a free rider to the hospital in the middle of the night ...

Hope all goes well with you ...

Good luck. Hope all is well and new year brings you nothing but the best.

How's the thyroid situation?? Everything under control now?
The thyroid is 100% better. Just one small side effect with hand eye coordination. I've just had accept that it will be this way. Sure beats the shit out of dying

Good luck bro. Glad all is well. You should of told your doc about the AAS...adn asked him to run a complete panell.. Although i have eyt to hear of AAS use and thyroid problems.

100% is a good number. Hopefully you're hand/eye coordination will recover in time.

Good luck on the recovery... Don't get discouraged early on, I've had my own share of health issues and I can tell you: That first couple of weeks in the gym make you think that it ain't never gonna be like it was. Then you break through that and feel silly for not believing that you could do it all along. Just be careful, and work it... ;)
