Nausea after postworkout shake; can't eat solid food!

I train 3x a week, for one hour between 10:00-11:30am.

I drink my postworkout shake after training, the shake contains 80 grams carbs and 60 grams protein with some Twinlab vitamin powder.

Let's say I drink my shake at 11:00. At 11:30-12:00 I start feeling sluggish and slightly light-headed; I reckon this is due to a drop in blood sugar... But I fight it thru...

Then I try to eat 1.5 hours after the shake (at 12:30), but I just can't down enough food. I feel nauseous even if it's kebab or lasagne day at my workplace...

What should I do? Should I split the postworkout shake into two parts to minimize the blood sugar dip, taking the 1st part right after training and the other 30-60 mins after the 1st shake, and if I do so, when should I eat?

I am worried about this because I want to get enough nutrients into my body in the two-three hour time period after training when my body needs it the most.

I totally understand where you're coming from bro.
I find that cos of Hi GI carbs in my shake (glucose) it's so sweet i feel sick after downing it especially after a workout :(

One thing i found that helps is to drink LOTS of water afterwards

Try using an unsweetened protein powder with maltodextrin in your post workout shake if you don't already do so. Also, I think the high carb and protein shake post workout is more important than the next meal so given the choice I would just eat less. Finally, you could always take some r-ala postworkout as that would even out your blood sugar but may be counter productive with regards to insulin.
