how do you decipher the connection speed someone is running with? (on morpheus)

my only problem is sometimes at the end of d/l'ing i get the message that it failed, but only RIGHT at the end. anyone else have this problem?

It's done on a simple scale from 1 to 5 with 5 being the fastest. If you go to your traffic page when downloading it will be listed under the speed column. It indicates the connection speed of the computer hosting the file.

I personally also look at the overall minutes to download and the bandwidth size to help determine which will be the faster files to d/l. Also make sure you're looking at the file size so you don't get an incomplete song, video, or movie.

It might be because your downloading from a host computer that has a dial up modem and not a broadband connection (cable, DSL). You can tell by the speed as explained in the above reply for SlickassBiatch.
If the speed is listed at 4 or 5 then it's D/Ling from a computer with cable or DSL a dedicated connection anything lower and it's coming from a dial up connection and once they go off line you loose the file.

There is a column that says bandwith at the heading.....the greater the bandwith the faster their connection
