Naproxen while on primo

Is anyone familiar with naproxen?

I've read that it causes water retention.

My doctor prescribed 500mg tablets of naproxen to combat my migraines. I have to take them twice a day

If anyone has ever taken naproxen, did you get water retention? If so, would an increase of daily water intake, like 1-2 gallons per day, prevent this?

Naproxen is a anti inflamitory medicine. I used it because i got bad knees. I didnt bloat up on it. Oh and you should be drinking 1-2 gallons of water per day anyways.

You are good to go bro, no problems in mixing............other uses of naproxen is in Midol and some other ladies menstrual symptoms medicine...

I only like to take meds when absolutely needed. in your case, you should take the naproxen (ALEVE) daily since dr. orders

naproxen made me sleepy for the first couple days i was on it. especially if you up the dose, which i did, have no idea why. but its a damn good anti-inflammatory, and i dont remember having any water retention.

I have to take it for my migraine issues also. The only bad part is the stomach ulcer feelings along with lovely heart burn..However there has been no water retention.

I was on Naproxen along with other nsaids.Be aware of the strain it puts on your stomach. My doc said if you take a prilosec ( has to be prilosec ) in morning it will prevent the stomach damage.
