I really HATE that movie with a passion and im seriously thinking of shoving the movie up the dorks ass when i see him for even suggesting it!!!!! what a waste of time and money for both the viewers and people who made it. HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I thought it was pretty funny. I like the retarded comedies now and again. It is a completely retarded movie, but we all knew that from the previews. First time I saw it was after several drinks and I found it pretty amusing. Certain things reminded me of my own awkward childhood. The moon boots in particular.
 
here is my short list of best films ever^ever

ka-zaam (shaq joint) (most humourous film ever)
that mariah carey flick (great production values)
gigli (excellent direction and the dialogue was on point)
road trip (the dances moves were so tight it's sick)
waterworld (i like water)

Not really, I didnt' hate it but didnt' love it either. Disappointing for all the hype it got but not sorry I watched it.

The dude who plays napoleon is funny..the breathing, the GOD!

His uncle calls him Napoleown. That's funny too.

Anyone who didn't find it funny -- was probably the good looking snobby people in high school who were being made fun of in the movie. Boo Hoo.

For the rest of us ugly nerds -- ND is our hero! Him and Pedro!! :)
 
Awesome movie. You have to look past that and see the little subtle hints they put in there to really understand what they were getting at.

I just finished watching this movie. The cinematography was awesome in it, great soundtrack as well. Unfortunately, the story was simply dull. I found the dialogue to be very cheesy and I HATED Scarlett Johansson's character...that laugh made me wanna punch her in the face. I'd like to see Sophia Coppola direct another movie, as long as she doesn't write it.

i've seen fist of the north star, but i didn't like it because the animation and the overall style were crap for my tastes.

princess mononoke, i want to see. the animation looks good. i've seen spirited away, which i enjoyed for the story and weirdness, but not the animation.

well we obviously have different thoughts on movies thats for sure. Princess is a very good movie and the animation is very good.
i have to say i did not like spirited away at all even the animation. just too blah and uhgh for me.

Napoleon Dynamite was a movie that is pretty funny, but just gives people a lot more catchphrases to say that are gonna annoy the hell out of most in a little while.
 
My wife and I watched it and she said it was THE WORST movie she's ever seen.It was OK for me. But.... the funny thing was where ND was waiting for his uncle in the van to go to the dance, he kept checking his watch and both my wife and I noticed at the same time that he wears the same exact watch as I do. LMAO it's a $13 watch that I had recently purchased and was telling my wife how much I loved it. It's like the 5th one I have of the same watch because it keeps breaking on me.

Me and ND wear the same watch. Yes!!!! She's still laughing at me.
