we were like ocean's 11 the way we worked a joint
and lumber too
I lived in houston in '72-'73 and houses were going up all over
we needed wood for our forts
so we made wood runs
we knew the builder's car and had a picket set up
it wasn't scrap wood either
fuck even back then it was mostly mexicans doing construction
sometimes we'd rip the wire out of the walls and made wire rings and shit
fuckin' electricians were probably pissed
fuck we were kids and at that age not even pot was involved
