My youngest started 'school' today...

My youngest started 'school' today and I am two steps short of crying/laughing. My baby is getting to be a big boy. I sat with him for an hour and a half, he was pretty shy at first and, of course, by the time it was time to go, he didn't want to leave and got pissed at me for taking him home. Really pissed, actually, so we went downtown to feed the ducks and stopped by the strip joint for some beers and some flesh, smoked a pinner with 'Amber', had a steak and went home.

Okay bringing over the tissue and some coffee....you can do the same next week when my middle one starts........you think it would be easy once you have done it with the first one and its like starting all over again lol

tell him to go after the girls

My youngest got laid at six months. He just hopped into her crib, turned on the fischer price 'Beutiful Dreamer' for some romantic mood tunes, whipped of her Kimbies and went to work.

Isn't that the truth!? My oldest, he's 10, just started fifth grade yesterday and he came home too excited to catch his breath: He gets to take both english and danish as second and third languages this year and he can bring a cell phone to school.

Cell phone? Ten year olds? I don't, repeat DON'T think so.

I still remember when my youngest went to her first day of school. It was very strange as her father could not be in attendance per the restraining order... was a really strange time for us. Still is...

I dont know which is wierder: when your oldest goes through something for the first time or when it is your last.

I dont even know when or where my kids will begin school...

Not thread-hijacking Chef. I am truly happy for all who are having a happy time of this. I'm just really REALLY stressed, sad, angry, upset, frustrated, scared... and so very tired.

It will be ok one way or another. Someday soon I will be seeing my kids off to one of the finest private schools and all of this nonsense will be but a bad dream, not even real anymore.

Happy first day of school to everyone. :)
