There are deeper issues involved here. She may be "protesting" your hobbies the only way she knows how. She`s looking at her "worth" as a mother and housewife and says "I need help" So YOU CAN APPRECIATE her and not your hobbies as much.

She may want you to spend less time and more importantly... MONEY on your(expensive) hobbies and redirect your money to other things like Maids etc.

When I worked full time & was going to school for my Bachelor's my hubby took over the housework......

Now I'm laid off & done school, so I told him I'd do all the housework....
