Dude, unless you got 5-6 kids running around, there is no reason why she needs a maid. I'm sorry, but housework is NOT that fucking hard. Turn off the soaps and shift ass off the couch and do something. If you let her hire a maid, then start charging your wife rent for living there. that is only fair.


That being said, I have a cleaning lady that comes twice a week and does everything but cook my food. Although I am here mostly everyday of the week, I prefer to hire someone else to clean up. Though as anal-retentive as I am, I usually end up cleaning up after her.

Somehow I dont see the need for your wife to hire a maid given that your kids are a bit older and more self sufficient than say, a 4 & 6 yr old. Did she state reasons why she feels the need fora maid? Maybe once every 2 weeks for a deep cleaning would be a way to compromise, but i certainly dont think she needs to hire one on a weekly or daily basis if she isnt working. I would also like to say that being a homemaker is not easy and no she doesnt make money, but like chef said, she is working round the clock.

That is bullshit. I know its a lot of work w/kids and cleaning the house. But, with kids that age each kid should have a couple of jobs. So, it shouldn't be that bad.

I see this shit w/married chics at the gym bitching about their husbands not doing housework. etc. So, I ask them "Why can't your husbands help w/housework while your at the gym? answer..."He's working" or "Why can't he do the housework while your at the mall, getting your hair done etc." answer..."He's working" they don't get it.
