Good point BigA, but who should ultimately be responsible for the decision to use a substance especially if it doesn't interfer with the rights, freedom, health or safety of anyone else and who decides what is excessive?
I just don't think that governments should be putting people in prison to potentially save them from themselves.
No we don't know the long-term effects of creatine or anything else for that matter, but banning something and creating a black market for a substance is never a positive step if consumer safety is the issue. The real problem is that many Americans can't think for themselves or make responsible choices despite the wealth of information out there today. Thus, the govt has to do it for them and we have what we have today.
Research isn't perfect, but it is something. Would you rather have the govt deciding EVERYTHING for us based solely on some politicians beliefs and the publics' emotions. Shit, they would still be burning people at the stake for witchcraft; although we're still not far from that today.
