I agree. I posted a thead last week saying that I would give bad karma to anyone begging for it. It didn't work out. I got attacked for it.
It's an out of control situation.

The fact of the matter is you can't predict or control human behavior sometimes. The intent for karma has been distorted because people are not cattle and they are cynical and resourceful. I think the lesson learned is to not to try and dictate how we should approve/disapprove. That is micromanagement.
People alreadyk know how to voice disatisfaction/praise, plus mods can ban folks if they get out of control . Maybe the "karma swap" threads are a cynical way of pointing out the uselessness of the idea and will lead to its termination.

I mean, they don't do shit.
The only reason I like the karma system is because if someone wants to give you props, and tell you they like what you posted, they can. If I get good karma, and it doesn't have a message to go along with it... then I could really give two shits.
All the rest is pointless as far as I'm concerned.

Well, my anabolically challenged friend, Karma (technically Karmaxistenolone) is the latest European designer steroid. It is 17-alpha alkylated, so you can drink it, but this will tend to be harder on your liver. I recommend injecting Karma in an inverse pyramid scheme for no more than 8 weeks. Results vary, but you can typically expect 30-85 pounds of super vascular shredded mass. Send me a money order for $500 and I'll send you a 20 cc bottle (never mind it's uncanny resemblance to Crisco vegetable oil).![]()
