My first cycle ever was 250 mg sustanon and 100 mg deca every week. I know this sounds puny for most members of this site, but I could not have had better results. When completed, I had gained about 20 lbs solid, lean muscle after bloating had subsided. I am surprised about short cycle, I don't know much, but most of my gains came late.
My best gains were in flat-bench triceps press and stiff-legged dead-lifts.
8 reps @ 135 up to 8 reps @ 275 on the lying tri press (this exercise is by far best at adding mass to tris. If you haven't tried, do so!)
8 reps @ 315 max up to 8 reps @ 600 lbs on stiff-leg dead-lift
(could have done more, got fearful of hernias)
