B Fold wanted me to post this.

February I weighed 175
benched a few reps w/225 I think
Squatted 250ish w/terrible form
didn't deadlift

Now I weigh 210
bench 305
Squat mid 300's
Dead mid 300's

My squat and dead form is still bad, so I've been training light trying to improve form. I'll see if I can find some back/leg shots.

Thanks man. Yeah, second pics really shows the difference. All natural too if anyone was wondering. The only supplement I take are vitamins, and I usually forget those...lol

nothing wrong with looking younger. you look a hell of a lot thicker too, big difference, now you gotta cut some of that fat off the midsection. Great Job !

Man...that is some serious progress. I remember when you came here...your progress is amazing. VERY impressive.

Look at your avatar. Do you have that in a full sized pic? Your back looks THICK!!!! Serious erectors!!!!

Can't wait to see where you are in February 2004.

I'm in no hurry to cut the fat. It's always easier to lose fat than build muscle, so I'd rather focus on building muscle right now.

Great work Mike. This is only the beginning.

Thanks Z. I really didn't plan to post any pictures, but B Fold asked me twice so I complied.

Thanks for all the comments about my back everyone - I didn't realize it grew that much until I took the picture today. I usually don't stare at my back in a mirror..lol. In fact it used to be a real weak point, so I hesitated even taking a picture of it.

"You've got traps!"

Your back has definitely come a long way! All those DL's are paying off. I've noticed a big change in my back since DL'ing! My back used to be a real weak point for me...now I think it is one of my strengths.

Now for the legs...

:)

Good job Mike! I just started deadlifting, so I'm hoping it'll do for me what it did for you.

I wanna be, I wanna be like Mike, like Mike, if I could be like Mike...

Good job bro, that hard work is paying off. You definitely have seen good results that should motivate you to keep making changes.

During that time period a combination of WSB principles that I really didn't follow to the letter. For instance, I got sore joints from the speed work so I stopped it. Not the best thing to do I know. And I slacked off a lot. But basically what I did pretty consistently was benches and declines, deads, partial deads, box squats (which I still do wrong) and some GM's. I slacked off on the assistance work, too. I'm not advocating what I did in any way, I just wanted to be honest. :)

sounds good...how many times a week did you perform these lifts

My best advice to you is to read the WSB sticky at the top. That's the closest thing to what I did, although I strayed away a lot and came back to it at times. But as for your question, bench movement twice a week and squat/dl movement twice a week.. workout 4 days a week.
