I can't even imagine how many hours I've spent with Civ III since it came out. It's one of the few games I've played that I keep going back to whenever I get the chance (other than Diablo II). The only time I get to play anymore is after the wife falls asleep and I have the house to myself.

Civilizations an awesome game and all, but don't you find that once you have loads of men, each turn takes bloody ages because all the men have to move around.


Is there an option to skip all this mving around, or speed it up?

You can automate battle sequnces, but it still takes forever. I go for cultural domination.

Ah, Don;t you get bored when it takes about 5 minutes per turn? THe game would be sooo much better if you could speed this part up.

How'd u get cultural domination? Do the other countries suddenly just give in to your greatness?
