screwed me over.......

They sold my loan, which is normal, but they didn't transfer over one of my payments and now I have this late fee crap.


Not only that but with all the hurricane issues they offered me a defferal and then didn't follow thru with it before they sold. So now guess what? Yea, cough up three months mortgage by Jan 1.

I empathize ... our first mortage company was pure evil.

It might be worth it to contact a real estate lawyer over this, most of them give you a free consultation to tell you if it would be worth your money. You might have to put out $250 or so, but it will be still substantially less than three months' mortgage, the late fee, and the mark on your credit report.

God I hate a nasty mortgage company.
