well me and Trinity maxed out today on the big 4. Squat, Bench, Deadlift, and Overhead press.
it was a good day. we kept it true to powerlifting fashion. if you made a weight then you could pick again, but if you missed you couldnt go back down.
Squat - 455 x 1 (55lb PR) 495 x 0. Got it up 6 inches and the bottomed out. Only was wearing knee wraps and my belt.
Bench Press - 315 x 1 (15lb PR) 335 x 0. Again, got it up about 5 inches and then it dropped. only wearing a belt and elbow pads.
Conv. Deadlift - 425 x 1 (60lb PR). this was hard and would have probably been red lighted by a judge, as soon as my hips locked it out, my grip went. Was only wearing a belt and had no chalk.
Strict Standing overhead press - 205 x 1 (20lb PR) 225 x 0. this one didnt budge but about an inch. oh well. was wearing a belt, elbow pads, and wrist wraps.
weight - 261lbs
coeff: 4.58
i feel proud, but beat up. the thing is this. on the bench press and squat, my sticking points were always the first 2 inches of each movement. now im sticking about midway up, which means i corrected that weakness........ now i have another one to work on.
Triceps for bench, and hips for squats (turns out you were right spatts,.............. thanks)
ok feel good........... now im jazzed to be starting over again this week.
