My MP3 player arrived today.

Finally, my Creative Labs Jukebox Zen NX came in. I'm one of the first people to receive it, since Creative Labs just shipped the batch out a few days ago. Light weight, compact, 30 gigs, and unlike the previous generation of Zen, it has a replacable lithium battery.

I'll never have to listen to the crappy radio station in the gym again.

Yay!

At 30Gig, it would be worth the pain of downloading vs burning to CD the new MP3's you want to listen to..

It's 4.4"x3"x0.86" - pretty small. It weights 8 ounces with battery. Comes with a pretty good "carrying case" - hard, leathery thing that clips on your pants and whatnot - I'm happy with it. The earphones suck ass, but I use my own Sony ones.

It cost $260, but it'll probably pop up cheaper on Yahoo stores soon enough.

I download all my music on my laptop either at school, or at a friend's place (Cable), so that's not a big deal. The connection is USB 2.0, so the transfers are freakishly quick. The longest part is ripping the CDs, should I decide to do so (and I will).

ya i got one for 40$.....holds about 8-10 songs.....use it and it is awsome........and it is so small it is like 1.5 inch by 1 inch and about .5 of an inch thick.......aww no more cd players

Actually Mullit, I did admit that the only downfall of my new CD/MP3/FM was the size....
I also said that it being weatherproof is a plus in my useage situ.

So put that in your Whale Blubber stew and slurp it up..

30gig...nice
