thanks guys

tb, i always like to hear of other's training and meeting the pros, etc. please, post whatever you can

Jeremy, On a side note, How do your friends react to your success at these meets? Are they all for it, or Do they say the old "Oh I could do that if..." BS or "why would anyone..."? Just curious.

or Do they jump on the bandwagon and want to start training to get big and strong?

some are the usual 'oh i could do that' and some are genuinely impressed.

over the internet, on other message boards, it can be terrible. there's a bunch of no-names having NEVER competed belittling lifters and their equipment, what they look like (which has nothing to do at all with my sport), the judging at meets, the federations that sanction the meets. its terrible between lifters and fans of lifting as opposed to people who dont know much about it. lots of bickering. hopefully things get better.

yeah, some guys usually want to start training but they end up quitting after a couple weeks or start doing things half-assed. most of the guys i talk to about it train anyway and these are the kind of guys i associate with. they ask what i do for training, wish me luck, etc

You are ahead of the game. You should be very proud of your accomplishments. Keep on doing what you're doing. Good luck!
