Remember Dave's First Law of Pet Names: Never give a pet a cutesy name that you'd be embarrassed to scream at the top of your lungs at 3:00AM waking all your neighbors.
I prefer slightly anachronistic human names. Name her after one of your grandmothers or great grandmothers or great aunts, does one of them have a humorous old name like Bertha or Hortense or Matilda or Hepzibah?
Or you could name her Renee...
If I ever get another cat, I already have names picked out -- Oscar if it's a tom, and Lucy if it's a queen. Provided the names fit the animals, that is, this is subject to change to fit the situation. My cat is named Clyde, the 14 year old female that I lost last winter was named Alice. Before Clyde, I had a big black tom named Spike.
