Look - if I'm to get over anything than others will have to get over it as well. I was NOT bragging nor trying to. Some people UNDERSTAND that. Some just don't. It's a CAKE.

You have told me in the past that I should listen to my elders and understand that they are more experienced and know certain things more than I.. so if this is the case, why do you want me to "apply this wisdom" (which I'm not even sure exactly what you want me to do considering I was not trying to brag in this thread), yet you and other peeps NOT? You guys keep doing the same bs I am.

Ok but why get angry over that? It's not them spending the money so who cares? If someone came on here and told me they were spending an excessive amount of money on something I thought was ridiculous, I wouldn't act like a prick to them. That's their perogative.

I grew up with money. a LOT of it- my parents paid for my college and graduate school too, plus spring breaks and anything else i wanted. and as soon as i saw that cake I laughed at the rediculousness of it.

this thread REEKS of "look at how privaledged i am". its not the issue of you having a simple bbq or a ball at the waldorf. you're here on a site of bodybuilders and weightlifters and powerlifters, and you show us some pretty, little, expensive cake your parents are going to buy for your "little BBQ" (which you failed to mention until called on it), and what were you expecting? everyone to say "oh, thats so pretty! you're so lucky!"?

you are the one that told US how laid back you are. how you don't take anything here seriously, because its just the internet after all, and how this is purely entertainment for you, then you come here and make threads with personal agendas and get pissed when they don't work.
