My Good News

I just had to share this with everyone. I know I've said on here a few times that in March I tore my tricep. I tore the lower tricep in two places and then have had aggravation going up into my shoulder/ rotator cuff. What made it really bad was that I didn't realize, at first, how bad it was so trained with it for another 2 weeks after the injury. Duh!

I'm not a big physio fan so decided to see a chiropractor who specializes in sports injuries using a technique called Active Release. It is sooo painful but has done wonders. Anyway...I had started training regularly again late summer (probably too much too soon) but was having issues and have been back in weekly rehab.

He said today that the tricep is almost back to normal. There is very little scar tissue left and I'm close to being able to start training again and strengthening it back up. My shoulder isn't quite there yet but I aggravate it by sleeping on it. I try not to but wake up that way!! ;)

So...I just had to share that news! I was so excited to hear that I'm almost there.

Thanks for "listening". :)

Indeed!

Seriously tho...since when are we allowed to post in here? I keep clicking on threads on the "new posts" page and don't always look what forum it is.

Is it a conspiracy to ban the good bros? :worried:

I think you can post in this one..the fitness one but not in the other women's one. That's where we can talk about girly stuff.

In your case...it's probably entrapment though. ;)

Yep patience is definitely a virtue...like you've told me before...please be patient so as not to get more injured or reinjured. It will come. In the meantime so happy for ya!!

LOL..advice is always easier to give then follow right?!? I will definitely be going slow though. When you realize how long something can really take to heal, it's not worth going backwards.

Thanks again everyone! :)

Good for you Cali, glad to hear it.

Congrats! That is awesome. There is nothing better then the feeling of being back to normal or close to it. It feels like forever when you are rehabbing back. But then once you are there the pain and misery is a distant memory.
