So you guys are a bunch of honest people, so id like to see what you guys think of my genetics, are they good? Poor? Okay? Let me know what you think please and thanks
The picture below are my 1 1/2 year transformation. With one screw up cycle, one spot on cycle with diet in check. And rest of the time natural training. Any comments accepted

Dude that's a sick transformation. Congrats. I'm no geneticist though. Seems like they're good but your frame was hidden under fat in the beginning

Is there any particular reason why you care??

Seems feasible if you've only been working out such a short time an achieved this much. Great shape and symetry to all of your muscles too (no homo)

Fuck dude that's great progress

yes you have atleast above avg genetics to make that transformation.. as you get older and wiser you will find it easier to build muscle mass so keep it up.

my only suggestion is don't over do it... i know with me when i was an endurance runner I made a very fast improvement and ended up getting injured.. the body does not like fast results no matter what. and i've seen a lot of lifters/bodybuilders make fast improvements and start getting nagging injuries.. so be patient and make nice and steady gains. don't listen to your friend who added 50 pounds to his bench in 1 month cause he is just gonna end up hurting himself and think you have to do the same thing. its a marathon, not a sprint and you want to stay healthy long term.

keep taking pics like you are doing and improve year over year instead of day to day and in 5 years you will be very pleased with your improvement

'Genetics' is a term used by ppl as an excuse for not being able to accomplish something (I can't loose weight, it's my genetics, etc.) I graduated highschool at 110@18% (5'5") and now 6 years later I'm at 185@12%. 'Genetics' is bullshit.

Your pics look fantastic though, you should be proud.

Going to compete perhaps? And genetics aren't bullshit lol. You probably have decent genetics yourself. Anything is possible but with good genetics you're definitely better off.

i think with most of us genetics is an excuse. but for the top 10% they can really get ripped up and huge much easier than the rest of us. and then the bottom 10% just cannot build muscle or strength to save their life.

for everyone in between its gonna come down to how hard and efficient you workout and diet/lifestyle.

i'm sure everyone remembers from football in high school there were certain kids who were already huge without really doing much, and then there were guys who were ecto's who would workout all summer and practice their asses off and no matter how hard they tried or worked could never earn playing time over those geneticly gifted guys. look at Tom Brady, the guy looks like shit and ran a shitty 40 time and barely pushed 225 at the combine out of college.. but for whatever reason he is blessed with a very strong and accurate arm + intangibles to make him great.

and then you have someone like jamarcus russell with amazing genetics who i bet his whole life worked half as hard as everyone else , ate nothing but mcdonalds and kfc.. and never spent any time in the weight room during the summer.. but still was always the best anyway and ripped to shreds.. once he got into the pro's vs. everyone else who is gifted he got exposed as someone with JUST great genetics and nothing else

Well see, and my thing is, honest to god, i can eat McDonalds and chips all day and walk around with 6 pack abs. Iv always been that way, but my problem is weight gain, two years ago i decided to change my life and make this a career path, changed diet, changed it all, and still i have trouble putting on mass, but lean gains are no problem.

there are a bunch of guys on here who eat shit and still walk around with 6 pack abs. that is probably more just a fast metabolism then for sure great genetics.

once you all get older it won't be so easy to keep those abs visible.. you will see :) you will have to strengthen your diets.

also what you do for a living matters.. try eating shit and sitting on your ass all day in an office job. not gonna work out for you on that front. but if you dig ditches all day then yeah eat what you want and stay thin. a lot of people i fish with eat and smoke and don't exercise but are thin.. fishing and being outside and fighting fish half the day EOD will definately burn calories up. on the flipside my other fav hobby is poker, and trust me go to a poker room no one has a nice body. all guys with guts. sitting playing cards 6 or 7 hours a day and being stressed is gonna fuck you up.
