My First Cycle - Test Cyp. & HCG

Hey dudes, I been reading alot of this threads and after reading Brandonp005s thread I thought it would be a good idea to do my own so I can be kept accountable as well as get good feed back from veterans. I started my first cycle of Test Cyp. on Monday (5-18-09)! The first shot was a breeze. My ass was sore for the first two days, but today it feels fine. Before I decided to do a cycle I'de been lifting for most of my life (was a wrestler in HS) and have been lifting seriously for about 3 yrs. I did as much research as I could and read everything I could and decided to do a Test only cycle to see how I would handle it.

My Cycle:
Weeks 1-12 Test Cyp @ 400mg/wk (split in half Monday night & Thursday night)
Weeks 3-12 HCG @ 250iu/E4D
Weeks 7-12 Beastdrol @ 3cap/ED
Two weeks after last Test Cyp shot - PCT (Nolvadex 20mg/ED for 3 wks)

Current Stats:
28 yrs old
5' 6"
153 lbs
9% BF

Measurements (not flexing, b/f workout):
Waist (@ bellybutton): 31.5"
Biceps: 13.5"
Forearms: 11.5"
Chest: 39"
Quads: 21.5"
Calves: 12.5"
As you can tell no matter what I do I can get rid of the chicken legs :mad:

Multivitamin
BCAAs
Glutamine
Flax Seed Oil
Whey Protein
Casein Protein
N.O. Supplement
Waximaize (carb product)

My Diet (its pretty clean, I'm kind of a health nut)
Breakfast (7:30am)
2 packets of flavored oatmeal
5-8 egg whites (I buy it by the gallon)
Glass of OJ

Snack (10:00am)
Whey Protein Shake (2 scoops)
Banana
Massive handful of Almonds

Lunch (12:30)
2 -3 Chicken Breasts
1 cup of brown rice

Snack (3:00pm)
Better Protein Bar

Pre-Workout (6:00pm)
Tuna (new packages, not canned, about 3 servings

After Workout
Whey Protein Shake (2 scoops) w/ Waximaize (2 scoops)

Dinner (8:30pm)
Lean, High Protein Meal (usually made w/ extra lean ground turkey or chicken)

Before Bed (10:30pm)
Casein Shake (2 scoops)

That gives you an idea of what I'm taking everyday. I'll update you with my workout schedule next time. This week is a bit different b/c I'm taking a ice hockey/skating class to help improve my speed so I'm taking my first 4 day break of lifting. I was going to take all week but I'm too excited about this cycle so I'm going to go straight to the gym on Friday!!

I'll post some pics later this week when I get a chance to up load them!

I'm glad I could be of some inspiration. I like your cycle bro. Your going to love the Beastdrol bro. Let me tell you, when that shit kicks in, you'll know it!

Also bro, at your weight, I assume your looking to put on some weight? If so, throw in some red meat. Cuts of select sirloin are great. You can get them at a nice price and they are one of the leanest cuts for the price.
 
Hows things going , and where are you planning to shot the HCG , i just go sudq with a slin pin in the side area of my belly , just make a roll of skin and go in on a 45 .

Sorry I didn't get back to you all sooner, but it was a crazy long weekend. However I did manage to get to the gym on Friday to get my max lifts. I also got to the gym on Saturday and did a crazy strong delt workout (don't know if it was the test or just the excitement but I felt strong and had tons of energy). I took my second shot on Thursday night (5/21/09) and my third shot last night. I can't wait for his shit to really kick in.

To answer the question about the HCG....I did some research on where to give the injection and the what I found was either SubQ in the stomach about 6 inches from the navel in any direction (pinch the skin and inject at a 45 degree) or IM in the ass. But since I'm already injecting the test in my ass I didn't want to do it there so I think I'll stick with the stomache. Thanks for the advice!!

Also I was wondering since I take the test twice a week can I just switch of cheeks or do I need to inject it in my thigh?
Also when I take the Beastdrol, do you suggest using it at the beginning of a cycle or the end? Do you take all 3 pills at once or split them up throughout the day (breakfast/lunch/dinner)?

Thanks for the advice about the red meat, cause as you can tell by my pics I want to bulk up for sure!

I wanted to post my max lifts from Friday as well as my workout on Monday.

Bench - 225 lbs x 1
Squat - 235 lbs x 1
Deadlift - 275 lbs x 1

I was actually suprised by the numbers because I don't do any of these lifts that often. I ususally use dumbbells for my chest because I can target it better. As for squats I've just started incorperating them in more often then I use to. As for deadlift, in the past it has hurt my back but now that I have the correct form I don't jerk as much

(7 reps from near the bottom to halfway up, 7 reps from halfway point to the top
position, & 7 (nearly) full reps) This give me a great pump at the end of the workout

Sup dudes, I wanted to update you with yesterdays meals and on my hellish leg workout (maybe only hellish to me since the weakest thing for me is legs). I'm definitly not going to post my diet everyday because I eat pretty much the same thing with the exception of subsituting a few things here and there. But all in all I eat pretty clean!

After I was done I could hardly walk out of the gym much less drive home. Everytime I had to push on the brake my leg would start shaking.
 
I learned a valuable lesson last night, and that's never work out legs the day following a shot! My ass cheek hurt so bad last night that I couldn't sleep on that side and everytime I got up to pee it felt like had a knot/charley horse in my ass cheek. Today it feels better, but only after stretching and walking around alot which of course is hard to do since my legs are hellishly sore from my workout yesterday.

But I'm still stoked and I can't wait till this gear really kicks in and I start to see some size and strength gains. I've definitely noticed an increase in my appetite because I'm hungry all the time even with the up in my calories.

Also after talking with brandonp005 I've decided to start taking my Beastdrol at the beginning of my cycle to help jump start it (even though this is the start of the second week of the cycle). I will also be adding Milk Thistle for liver support.

If anyone has any feedback they'd like to leave or critiques on my diet or workout please feel free! that's why I'm posting my journal!
 
Try and inject abit slower and put a heat pad on it after rubbing out the area , im pretty sure you do this but heat up your gear before you shot .

I haven't heated it up before its normally just at room temp. But I will definitley put it in some warm water next time and see if that helps. Thanks for the advice!
 
another tip that could help the soreness bro is to take a hot bath following your injection...between that, massaging the area and slow injection your soreness should be very mild if any

Sorry I didn't get that last workout post end over the weekend, but I had a crazy weekend. I was my mom's 50th birthday and we had our Championship hockey game on Sunday which we lost :mad:! I can definitley say I skated my ass off, but as for some of the other players the didn't seem to care all that much which pisses me off. I can tell my legs are getting stronger because I'm skating a lot faster and harder! Man, I love this shit!!:heart:

I had a great workout last night, I can tell I'm getting stronger but it's not coming as fast as I thought it would. Plus the Breastdrol won't probably kick in till next week since yesterday was the end of the first week of taking it.
My dad wanted to start lifting with my a couple weeks ago so that's helped a lot since have someone to help me push up a couple more sets.

Took my 1st shot of week 3 and this time I set the test. cyp. in warm water before the shot and then after rubbing the area for about 3 minutes I hopped into a warm bath. Then after I took a shower I put a heating pad on the area for about 30min on low. And today I have no soreness in the area at all!!!!!!:D:D:D:D

I also got my HCG yesterday and mixed it. I was suppose to take my first shot yesterday but I'm going out of town with the family to visit the inlaws and I didn't want to worry about keeping the HCG in their fridge so I'm going to take the first shot on Wednesday before we leave and next shot with be on Sunday, which is when we get back.

I do have a question about the HCG!
I'm having a hard time understanding the units on the slin pin. The syringe has units marked as 5, 10, 15,......50 and it then says 1/2 ml on the other side of the 50. And I need to take 1/2 ml which the way I did the mixture equals 250iu. Logic would say that .5 ml would mean to fill it up to the 5 but if you compare .5 ml to a normal 3cc syringe then it doesn't seem like enough since the slin pin syringe is so much thinner. So it seems to me that I would fill it up to the 10 but I'm not sure. Can you help!
 
Ok mate the ticks on a 1/2 ml slin are 10units each (on a 1ml slin they are 20 units)100units per ml .
So how much hcg have you got and mixed at what amount of liquid .?

Well I haven't posted in a while because I went w/ my wife to visit her parents on Wednesday and we didn't get back until Sunday night. I did get all my workouts in last week, even had to do my legs at her parents gym which was tiny but had everything I needed.

This is my 4th week of the cycle and I can definitely tell a difference in my size and strength. People are starting to comment on my size which is great considering how much hard work its taken. My weight has shot up to 164lbs as of yesterday (6/10/09), I've gained 11 lbs. and I don't think I've gained any BF!!:D
I'll update all of my measurements at the end of the week. (I order BF calipers)

Everything feels great except my lower back has been getting very tight. On Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, everytime I would stand up and walk around my lower back would tighten up so bad that I couldn't stand up straight. It felt like I had just finished doing hyerextensions!

I think I solved the mystery, I found that at the bottom of the syringe it says 50 units and directly next to it, it has 1/2 ml. So that means that on this particular syringe, 50 units equals 1/2ml.

I bought 2 amples of 2000iu of HCG and the mixing instruction had me mix 4cc of the Bacteriostatic solution with one ample of HCG which means that .5cc should equal 250iu, and I'm taking 250iu E4D

I'm finishing my 5th week of this cycle and its really starting to kick in! My strength gains are unreal, I'm making personal bests every week.
My bidy weight is really starting to go up as well, I'm at 168lbs. and I'm pretty sure I haven't gained any BF. I haven't had any side effects yet except for a little water retention, but I'm going to start doing some more cardo to help with that and to help my body adjust to the added body weight.

I'll try to remember to get some progress pics up ASAP!
 
Everything is still going great! I just finishing my 6th week of my 12 week cycle, and just finished taking the Beastdrol. I'm also taking 250iu of HCG E4D which is also helping. I'm still getting stronger everyday and I'm making personal bests everytime I lift!!:D

My diet is still very clean and I'm drinking at least 1-2gals of water everyday. I'm starting to see more striations in my pecs and delts and my abs are starting to come in more, but I still feel like I still have some water retentions. So after reading some other threads I decided to order some Liquidex to help with this and plan on taking .5ml ED. Let me know if this sounds right!?

The only thing that I'm starting to have trouble with is some cramping. If I yawn to big or stretch in a certain way, I'll sometimes start to get a muscle cramp in my ribcage or abs. Not sure if its related to the test. or not but I know that is not from lack of water.

Other than that things have been going great! I'm hooked for life!!
 
Well just finished my last shot of Test Cyp.:( I had to cut the cylce 2 weeks short b/c I only bought enough for 10 weeks, 1st timer mistake I guess.
The L-Dex I've been taking at .5mg/EOD has definitly paid off, water weight came off easy and hasn't returned.
I'll be starting my PCT in two weeks consisting of Nolv. at 20mg/ED for two weeks. I'll get pics and final stats up as soon as I can.
Of course I've already been thinking about my next cycle which I'll start around Jan. 1st 2010. I plan on doing another bulking cycle, and the reason I'm waiting so long is that in late November my wife and I going to start trying to have our 2nd baby.

I loved this first cycle and I'm extremely pleased with the results and I can't wait till my next cycle.
