kiddie ok?

what type of poochie?

It just frightened the baby. The dog was doing the lean/dominating thing to him. Outlaw is usually a REALLY good dog. He is a boxer. I just can't have him fucking with the baby. I will make sure he gets a good home because he is a good dog.

LMAO..one scratch and you're going to get rid of the dog?

1st, baby's face is super scratched.
2nd, Outlaw started growling like he was gonna bite me when I tried to get him away from the baby.
3rd, I'm not gonna wait for Outlaw to eat the baby.

I don't blame you.

If he would have done it accidentally while jumping around playing, maybe I'd give him another chance.

If he showed even a hint of aggression ... bye bye doggy :wavey:

my friends boxer took a chunk out of his boys face. surgery fixed it all up. we were telling him the dog was fucked up and to keep it away from the babies, at the time they had 2, now 3. dog snapped one day. very large boxer too. over 90 pounds. scary situation. the 2nd dog i have met that i was intimidated by. the other attacked my neighbors 4 year old daughter. scary dog. very large blood hound.

When I was a kid I grew up with two great danes in the house. I jumped on one while it was sleeping and it bite me in the face, had to have stitches. Didn't get rid of the dogs, but they got put in the dog run more often. I never jumped on a sleeping dog again.

However, if he is hovering over your baby growling at you while you try to get your baby away, I would git rid of him. Boxers are very sweet dogs, but you never know with a small child. Wish I had room, I would take him he is a great looking dog.

My parents dog chewed my face when I was little. That dog became my best friend and constantly growled at people who walked near me. My parents would sit the dog next to me with one of them petting the dog. After a few weeks, the dog was ok with me.

I'll post up a pic later.

I had a similar issue, they are dead. Cause when the dog growls at you the new owner is blindsided and will have their baby hurt far worse.

Simple, put it down or give it to an old person so noone cares it killed them.

:Boomstick

Aggressive towards a harmless baby....I'd shoot the good-for-nothing sonofabitch. Because if I gave that dog away and it disfigured some poor kid down the road, I think I'd have to go out back and shoot myself for being so damned irresponsible.

Awww, so sorry, I think would do the same thing. It's awesome that you found a great friend to take your dog.

That's a false dichotomy you nasty old codger! You find the dog a new home. The kid lives. The dog lives. Everyone is happy. You wanna play God, go perform an abortion or something.

OK,

Let me replay this same story. I had 2 dobbies. I moved the bowl of the female she growled and snapped at me. These dogs could take me down anytime. A dog that attacks an owner or their family needs to be gone. They are a fucking animal. Humans, animals.... As I told some other nutjob, I would be happy to have given my dobbies to you then we would not be having this conversation. You would have been a meal in a room. Any animal that harms a human can be either dead or harm another human. Like a child. But seems you like animals more than humans.

Ok, then let the dog bite them... As long as there aren't children adults should be able to put them down.

buy a dog

don't properly train it

kill the dog for it's untrained and undisciplined mindset due to the owners laziness

My dog is well trained. Always has been. I have NEVER been a lazy dog owner. Dogs are pack animals. Educate yourself about dogs before you call dogs unproperly trained or owners lazy. Hell, my dog doesn't even approach his' food until I say it is ok. He can even hit the light switch and turn the lights on and off when I tell him. Unless you are an alter, you are making yourself sound like an ass and u just got here.

For the record, I wasn't talking about you, I think you are doing the right thing by giving it away to someone who doesn't have a youngling crawling around.

But since you got so emotional, if you think dogs are such "wolf pack" living creatures regardless of obedience, why the hell would you have one around your own child in the first place?

Ur an idiot. I wasn't being emotional. I was just pointing that out. If I was just being emotional, I would have just told u to fvck off. And maybe bombed u.

Doesn't matter how well you "think" you train your dogs to sit and lay, you don't put a dog in a position they aren't accustomed to PERIOD. Was there a baby crawling around the house when he was being trained as a pup? If not, then how would the dog know the difference between a toy stuffed animal and a baby? Are they suppose to have some super sense not to touch new things to them?

The baby is 7 months old. The dog has been around the baby for 7 months.
This is not a case of a new anything.

so I ask again

if you think dogs are such "wolf pack" born creatures, why the hell would you have one around your newborn in the first place?

They were great dogs until their last day.

I moved her bowl of food, as I had dozens of times before. She snapped at my hand growled at me and advanced with her teeth showing. That was the last time that happened.

They were trained as protection dogs in LA, the training was very expensive and very effective. I lived in Lake Arrowhead on 10 acres. If the dogs wanted to get me down it would be an easy task since that was what they were trained to do. I would have been food for a week had that happened. I could have given them to a new owner, but if after almost 8 years with me exhibiting agressive behavior for no reason what would happen to the new owner?

So
1 the dogs were WELL trained
2 they were very well taken care of
3 they weren't sick had a cold or had a bad day.

Good decision. You could try to rehabilitate the dog's dominant behavior but I wouldn't risk that around my baby.

I said pack animals. Not wolf pack. And they ARE pack animals. It has nothing to do with what I think....they just are.
The dog has NEVER been left unattended with the baby. He was never able to get to the newborn....when the baby was a newborn. As far as training, this dog went through all of the proper training. He even had baby noise CDs 6 months before the baby was born.
Get outta my thread. U sound like an idiot.

I have one and he's never been hit. He's never been aggro toward people either. Except for the homeless and blaques that dress all gangstah.

If he goes after my baby I will put him down though. It'll kill me if I have to do it, but no fucking way he hurts her.

I never had to hit mine either. But when two dogs that were trained to drag ANY man down start acting jiggy then I hated to do it but had to be done. Can you imagine if her behavior got worse and a new owner had kids? The kid would be just like chris's stuffed rabbit, they would be really fvked except dinner as well.

A few of my friends had some issues with their dobermans and one of them had some serious hostital bills and a long term plastic surgery expenses because the insurance company didn't cover anything cause it was a doberman, He also said they didn't cover chows, german sheperds, pit bulls or rotweilers.

So anyone that thinks dogs will or can be rehabilitated need to take a couple of them home and play with em.

My thoughts exactly.........And I stated this somewhat on the other "quality" thread and it's like his pacemaker went into overdrive

You're my new EF hero

MYWay, I'm glad you found the dog a new home and didn't play God.
In my opinion, dogs should not be around kids.

My neighbors kid grabbed the dog I was walking the other day and the dog bit the kid. The mother was pissed off at her kid for grabbing the dog.
This dog is the sweetest dog and is harmless, but I will not bring the dog back to be bugged by the little kids again.
My dog bit me many times when I was a kid cause I would pull it's tail etc.
Killing a dog b/c it bites is HILARIOUS! It's a dog not a FRIGGIN LION.
Not even Siegfriend and Roy killed their cat after it bit, they knew the cat was acting according to it's nature.
Dogs bite! the end!

I will be happy to send as many little puppies that weigh in at about 100+ lbs.

I am sure you will "love" them. Please send an address so I can get these poor little creatures to visit.

As all you wackos, when you have a dog bite, oh you don't have kids, nevermind.

When an animal takes your skin you will have a pistol strapped to your bleeding heart ass..

As I said, I will pay to have every animal sent you you, at least you can find some satisfaction to your life.

I am saying this in the most loving way.
:Boomstick

So then put the fucking dog down you idiot. Obviously if it is going to bite a child then it will bite an adult. Animals are lower than humans, don't know if you know this or not..
Let me say, just cuz I say this does not mean I don't like animals. I happen to love animals. however animals come after humans. you want to bite the hand that feeds you than you need to go!!!
And well screw you if you don't agree...not all animals/people need a savior.Get a life and stop trying to be one!

Angelbitch

Sluts are happy peopletoo, so if you don't like it cry about it.
Hey you forgot to mention the new av to certain members before posting!!!!!!!

You know... When we have a nutjob that thinks her kats are more inportant than people we have a problem. As all of these wackos have no idea about a human life cause they only have non speaking and non human companions. Then they have men that they don't like AND they don't like them. What a great relationship. I understand whay these people have no life.

A tiny little bug got ya, how about a couple animals with teeth take you down. Ya got a grip yet?

Really please stop pretending. Blu2

:santa:

Some of these people need to step out of there plastic starbucks fuckin life and go on a camping trip or something and realize that animals can and will kill you Im no kitty kicker but ill be damned if a dog im feeding is gonna bite me without repurcussions

A to the motha fuckin Em

Some people are more worried about what others will think of their morals and feelings rather than telling the truth on how they will handle shit...
Seriously I am an animal lover, I am all about animals. However you will never never never fucking bite me, or you will die. If you bite me the person who cares for you, then what will stop you from biting your new owner?
Smarten the fuck up stupid shitheads

I have read all her crap, a nutjob. So let her hug a little dog and see how that works for her. Really a nutjob makes me sad, they have no real life experience, perhaps they should have had at least one child of their own!

When a woman takes the side of an animal vs a child, what is she thinking? Not reality, her life must suck, so I am done.

sorry to hear he hurt your baby. ironically we just picked up a 4 year old tiny chahuahua today for free. now we have 2. the first one was a girl and the one we just got like an hour ago is a boy but hes fixed. :( we wanted to bread our female but she REALLY needed a playmate to help get her used to a male dog so when we do bread her she doesnt run away like she did last time we tried. they are so cute together. they have only known each other for an hour and absolutely love each other. pics will be coming of the arranged marriage.

Contrary to what your senile old ass may believe, I'm from the South where we love our pets and our guns. I have two pit/lab mutts and little beagle mutt. Those pitt's wouldn't so much as nibble on the hairs on your arm, much less bite ya. Hell, they cuddle up next to our cat and groom him and vice versa and fall asleep that way. They only go after bunnies and squirrles in the backyard and, you know what, if we brought one and properly introduced them, they wouldn't mess with him at all.

Of course, alarmist bastards like you wouldn't know any of this. You like to shoot first and ask questions later. Funny thing is so do I, only I aim to defend my dogs from folks like you, whom I'd drop with a hollow-point man stopped in a hot shit minute, if they ever thought about harming one of my boys.
