My Dball only cycle progress. (info for those interested)

Allright. There is alot of talk lately on the merits and pitfalls of a simple dball only cycle. I call this a "back to the basics" approach to cycling. I did it in the past and am doing it currently. This cycle can go eitherway, you can gain and loose all of it ( and then some) afterwards, or you can keep most of your gains like with any other AAS. The thing to keep in mind is to do your best to produce as much real muscle tissue as possible on a cycle like this, as slowly as possible. Quick gains are almost always water, so it's important to keep it to a minnimum and concetrate on streght and lean mass gains.

This is my current formula.

I'm on week 6 of 20mg dball daily with .5mg arimidex EOD. I started with this dosage from day one.

My starting stats:
6'3, 215 lbs with 15% bf.
Very experienced training history with a long 4 year lay off, i currently train 4 days per week.

My diet for the entire day:

1 lb of fish.
2 cups of oats (uncooked)
1 cup of rice (uncooked)
3 cups of vegatables
raisins
Penta Protein (6-8 scoops daily)
Hemp oil.

My results.

This monday marks the beginning of week 6. I weighed myself yesterday and weighed in @ 245. That's right, 245lbs, that's 30lbs with no bloat and i look a few % points leaner. I am propably carrying about 10lbs of water in the muscle itself and expect to loose it post cycle or during this clen/T3 bout. The thing to keep in mind is, i used to weight about 280 lbs in the past, so alot of my weight gain is muscle memory, also i'm a very good respondent to low dose AAS. My strenght gains have been pretty good and i look very solid, not puffy and the cycle is about over. Definitely worth it, if you do it like i did, that is good training (comes with years of experience), look again at my diet, use anti-estrogens and taper off at the end and add clen.

Sides:

Very slight bloat on some days, usually in the lower abs, other then that NOTHING.

I am now down to 5mg Dbol daily with Arimidex @ .5mg EOD, with 40mcg of clen and 25mcg or T3 for the next 2 weeks to cut up a bit and remove any last water. Then PCT.

Also i should point out i take the dball @ 5 AM always in ONE dose.

Great to hear!

What will your PCT look like? And at what point did you reduce to 5mg and throw in the clen? Did you use liquid Arimidex?

PCT will be nolvadex @ 20mg per day. I have no testicular shrinkage so HCG will not be necessary. I like Novadex better then Clomid. Over time i reduce the Nolvadex dosage down to 10mg daily then off..

I reduced the dosage to 5 mg and added clen in the 6th week, which is now.


I used arimidex @ .5mg EOD and sometimes for 2-3 days straight if some extra bloat would hit me. The Arimidex was a liquid preparation. I would like to point out that using Arimidex, aside from it keeping bloat away also makes my recovery much faster.
 
Mucho K bro. I often wonder if there is really any other steroid that someone needs whether bulking or cutting? Controlling bloat and most importantly diet and you really can do both. Gotta love the folks that say dbol does nothing but add water to your body ... when in fact it causes hypertrophy of muscle fibers .. better than most other steroids. Take a before and after pic, when water is all said and gone you will be left with more muscle tissue. Good work thus far. Also, I wouldnt judge your nut size whether you are shut down are not. My nuts never seem to shrink, but there is no doubt in my mind that I have been shut down and shut down fairly hard before as well. Anywhoo .. keep us posted on how things turn out postcycle and how much weight you keep.

Yes you're right on all accounts and good points. I am a firm believer in being able to cut and bulk on the same gear. Dball IMO is a great AAS and people underestimate it. 5 mg broke world records when it first hit the markets, so it's definitely potent at building muscle not water. For that reason it's used by both sprinters and power lifters.

BTW: About the nut size, i know that size is not indicative of supression in many cases, i was just stating that my current size is good because it won't require me to use HCG as part of PCT, which is a definite plus.

Finally, its good to hear from someone who is an open advocate of moderate AAS useage. I feel like I'm kinda in the same boat in that I generally respond quickly and favorably to moderate/low doses. I've done larger cycles and smaller and its seems that the gains I make tend to stick better with the smaller, more gradual cycles rather than the inverse.

Good stuff...I have some dbol laying around from a previous cycle and was thinking of doing something similar. I'd be interested to get a little more info on your diet and maybe some input on a diet for me, if you got time. K for you

completely off subject.. but hey greg... is that your baby in your avatar? What year is it.. i'm a Z fanatic.. i own a 94 300z NA... 233k miles on it.. ha ha.. new motor.. new driveshaft.. new everything almost.. i love my baby.. nice summer day here on the east coast.. cruise around with my t-tops off and my stereo up just driving the hell outta that car.. gotta love it.. PM me if you ever wanna talk cars.. take it easy man

Hey, that is my baby. I love the Z like no other car. There's just no other car on the road that is so timeless. Mine is a 90 300zx 2+2, NA 5 speed with 90,000 miles. Runs like a dream. I just can't see myself getting rid of it.

I noticed the same thing in my cycles. The lower dosages work better for keepable gains. I think the reason is that as we get into the really high dosages, our mental focus shifts from training and having enough food and rest to the drug itself. I try to focus on the training, a good diet and rest. I don't even think about "being on" so i better blow up kinda thing, i just let it run it's course. And it always worked. When i used to obsess sp? about my cycles and turned into a scientists just planning them my progress was slow. I like the basic approach, to go on cycle but mentally do everything like you're not on a cycle, pretend you're a hardgainer looking to pack on some muscle, this will make your training take on a certain intensity, as will your diet.

BTW: My training concentrated on all body parts, BUT Deadlifts and Squats were the connerstone of my routine.

My diet:
5:00 AM
1 cup oats
45 grams penta protein
2 tblsp Honey in oats ;)

8:00 AM
1 cup oats
45 grams penta protein
1-2 servings of raisins in the Oats ;)

10:00 AM

Repeat 8 am meal or have 50Grams of dextrose with 50grams or protein as a pre workout drink.


12:00 ish (PM)

1/2 cup of rice
2 tilapia filets
2 servings of frozen veggies. ( i like spinach)

3:00 PM

1/2 cup of rice
1 tilapia filet
1 Tuna can (low sodium)
2 servings of vegetables.

6:00 PM

45 grams penta protein
handfull of mixed nuts

9:00

You can repeat mixed nuts and 25 grams of protein.


And that's pretty much the diet i follow all the time. It can be adopted for bulking by adding 2 table spoons of HEMP oil to the Fist and Second fish and rice meals, you can also increase the carb ammount in the meals considerably.
