My comp. is infested with popups

THeres a windows error that needs to be closed that allows the grey ones to pop up. Simple fix if you google and search for other than that. Firefox.

Probably you don't have a good updated anti-virus and a firewall. You already have a lot of spywares, adwares and maybe virus/trojans on your computer. It is possible to remove all that shit but I would not recommend it. The reason is, your windows registry is already full of missing entries, invalid key entries and other crap. At the end, your PC will work slow and windows eventually will crash anytime. What I suggest, get a good anti-virus/firewall. I recommend Norton Internet Security 2005. Then backup all your necessary information, and proceed to format your hard drive. Re-install windows and install the anti-virus/firewall before internet connection if possible. Then get all microsoft updates, as well all Symantec (norton) updates. You are ready to go.

I went through this a couple of weeks ago and firefox didn't help. I had to go to:
start
programs
accessories
system tools
system restore

to restore my computer to an earlier time.
