My card got decilned.

I just went to Trader joes to buy some food, i got like $18 worth of shit. I tried to pay with my card and it got declined, I reached in my pocket and found $10, I gave them to the clerck and tried to put the other $8 on the card. Still declined. How embarrasing.

it could be that you made an internet transaction that raised an alarm with your credit card company, causing them to freeze your account. call them to straighten it out.

this happened to me once and it kind of ticked me off. and yes it is embarrassing.

Sometimes it's just glitchy. A customer will come into my office to make a payment with me-- his visa check card will get declined, I call the place they okay the dollar amount and say to ignore the cc machine.
