A few years ago, I bought my car, 96' Nissan Maxima SE, got a greal deal on it.
Anyways though, I was upset because the color was gold and I wanted it to be black, so I figured I'd get a cheap MAKO paint job for it (I was in highschool and still an idiot)
Anyways, as you can imagine now the paint is chipping off quite a bit. Especially around window edges, other edges, and the front bumper.
So I'm going to repaint the car, but this time I'm going to get it done better. But the other thing is that I'm a college student, so I want to get this done for cheap. Maybe do some of it myself (such as the sanding it down, and maybe priming it, and then sending it in to MAKO for them to finish the job)
There are a few rust spots. one on the very bottom of the car on the right side, and the other is up by the trunk near the spoiler
I'll post some pics, and maybe you guys can help me decide the best route:
THE FRONT BUMPER:

THE BACK RUST SPOT:

In the mean time, I'm thinking maybe it would just be a good idea to buy a can of spray paint, sand down, and redo the front bumper. That would help a lot.
