He calls me to tell me to meet him at my parent's house tomorrow to move their stuff into storage..... I say "I'll split the cost to have the stuff moved because I don't move furniture because I have injuries that can be aggravated and I just started a new career and have to be on my feet all day and if I get hurt, I''m screwed."..... He says that "I'm being a pussy" and hangs up on me saying that, "We don't need your help then."...... He's a manager and used to bossing people around and he's arrogant as hell.... I'm very annoyed by this.

Ignore him.
Don't even talk to him for a few days.

It's his stuff - let him deal with it.

Unless someone is dead broke - it's CRAZY not to hire someone to move your stuff. They will do it better and faster than you can and it will hurt less to write a check then bust your ass on your day off for someone that usually doesn't appreciate it anyway.

No, he's actually my younger brother.... I made a bully out of him and he's a tyrant now...... And intelligent person doesn't move heavy objects when they have injuries that can easily be aggravated and their work depends on them staying healthy....Lifting weights is different because you can work around injuries, not so when moving heavy, awkardly shaped objects..... Anyone that agrees with my brother is dumbass.

I'm the same way as you, man. Why the hell should I wreck my back when I can afford to pay someone else to wreck their back doing the work for me.

Take the money that you woulda used to pay half of the moving expenses and go to Home Depot tommorow morning and grab you a day laborer and head off to your parent's house. When you get there, have the day laborer assist your brother with the moving, pretty much have him do what you'd be doing if you were helping, except you just kinda stand back and give orders to your worker and "manage" him. Halfway through the moving process look at your brother and shrug and say "Hey, you've taught me well".
