New member
Total test 192L
dihydrotestosterone 15L
igf-1 155
globulin 5L
free test 56.2
cholesterol total 250
triglycerides 280
hdl 31
ldl 163
glucose 98
high np
and high iron levels
Basically, I have a shitload of work to do.
prescribed cypionate 50mg 2x per week
dhea 25mg 2xper day
benzaprine 20mg am
also some "medical foods" to get insulin receptors working
ultraglycemex
medical fish oil pills
What do you all think?

low test, high cholesterol with very bad ratio. like you said, you have some work to do. Good luck, let us know how you make out. Are you sched for a follow up blood test?

ultraglycemex is an awesome product but your glucose is within normal limits so why worry there? You may also want to try some flush free niacin to help with the cholesterol. But first and foremost you should evaluate your diet and lifestyle...that will have a more solid impact on your values

Update, I have lost 18 lbs in 2 weeks, I can feel myself losing weight every day. My energy is through the roof. It is different this time, I had lotsa drinks last night for New Years, had pizza for lunch today, but right back on track for the rest of the day.

Excellent changes! Your body was hungry for test. Now it is functioning at a higher rate.

Looking more closely at your original post ....

It seems you added hormones:
- Low dosage test cyp
- DHEA

Any other? HGH?

What did you decide about your diet and exercise?

The doc said let's see what the test and dhea do to hgh levels, that is something we could add in a couple of months. I have been fast walking for 30min/day 5 days a week. Doing squats, rows or cleans, bench 3x per week.
How does that regiment sound?

Awsome progress keep it up! As far as your regime, it seems to be working well for you right now so I would not change a thing. Start thinking about changing when the progress slows too much or stops.

You are getting fine results at this time.

Aerobics are fine. Keeps the furnace burning.

Might want to think about a full body workout with a split in 2006.

I'd also keep finding hidden sugars and getting rid of them ... upping the veggies and animal flesh.

You are on your way!

So I am down 28 lbs now, I am off the ultraglycemx, but am considering going back on because it was such a great quick meal replacement. I have been taking the test regularly, but sometimes forget my dhea at night(supposed 2x per day). I allow myself 1 meal per week whatever I want, but that is it. Caffeine has been creeping back in, just at work about 2-3 hours after I wake up, 1 cup of coffee small, and later a diet mountain dew or 2;). I have really changed the way I eat, and I can feel the difference every day. It is funny, at work the guys all eat complete shit for lunch every day(the boss buys) I am talking burritos, triple cheeseburgers, gyros. And there I am with non-fat cottage cheese, tomatoes, and an orange. I snack on almonds and dried apricots. They are all ready for bed by 3:15 and here is this old man-me-that does his cardio every night, drinks only once a week, and is just kicking their 25 year old asses! i love them, but just happy to be so alive!
My relationship with my wife has been getting better and better, I have a strange desire to try new hobbies like learn the guitar and volunteer at a animal shelter that I am going to do. It is so nice when you wake up to the world again, there really is a lot to life that I just wasn't taking advantage of. I was just a fat, unhappy, pot smoking/drinking argue with my wife and get pissed at her for trying to coax me to go to the gym guy. And now I am not.
Hope all is well with you guys.

Excellent. Nothing like a return to superior health.

As you get older, you'll enjoy this even more.
It is amazing what lack of exercise, fatty/sugar/fad diets, and hormonal changes do to the human body over time.

It is also amazing what the opposite can do. :)

ohh damn

You really have to sort that out, you are heading in a bad direction.

have lost 18 lbs in 2 weeks

Well thats a bit fast, isn't it recommended no more than 2lb's a week?

I am 30 years old. I feel healthy and am not starving, so I think it is fine, especially when I am so obese, the normal rules of how fast fat comes off don't apply.

I've had low HDL levels (never had high LDL though).

I take 3.6g of flax and 3.6g of omega-3 (fish oil) every day plus I made sure to integrate leafy green veggies and make sure I have at least one fish product per day for the LDL -

I also stay away from the "bad" meats (the ones very high in fat like ham, bacon). I got my HDL levels up from below 30 to over 45.

It takes time - eat right and take the supps you need to get you to where you need to be.
