My bird it too cute...

Just noticed him sleeping again...

I have a mirror on a chain, hanging above one of his perches, against the side of the cage. When hs sleeps, Legolas lifts the mirror, and gets under it, then tucks his head under one wing and goes to sleep.

Even funnier, he snores when he sleeps sometimes.

I'll try to get a picture of him to post up sleeping, eventually. For those who want to know he is a green-cheeked conure (a small breed of parrot) and about 20 weeks old.

Snoring bird that is funny. A friend of mine has big white something or other that cracks me up too. He drinks beer and eats a big plate of whatever he eats, last time I was over there the bird had big chuncks of mashed potatoes all over his face and beak from dinner. Can't wear my tevas over there though because the damn thing follows me around staring at my toes like...hmm which one to eat first?
