My back sucks

my back needs so much work on width its not even funny.

you know what.....your going to have to do some deadlifts, rack deadlifts, and some heavy rows. also, pulldowns will help to. the more weight you can do for 6-8 reps, the thick your back will be.
here's what it did for my back.

Deadlifts, partial deadlifts, good mornings, rows, chins, even squats all build the back. Your pose is kinda weird too - If you had your hands up and lats spread it would look better.

My weakness has always been my back, I find that lots of deadlifts, barbell and dumbell rows, and pullups or latpulls help with improvement. Its just hard to build a great back because you never see your back when your looking in the mirror.

try checking out the Oct. issue of FLEX magazine. You'll know it's the one, the cover is "Lingerie Scorcher":D Anyway, there is a 8 week routine that is really mapped out and looks great...I just started it yesterday, so can't comment as far as results...but check it out if your interested, I can hardly wait to see the results.
 
im sorry but that was the worst back pose in the history of back poses.

get someone else to take the picture, or do it 1 arm at a time where at least your back is in the right posisiton.

of course you dont look wide, your lats and upper back is all scrunched up.

flare, then snap, then post, and i'll give comments then...

I was thinking the same thing.

Don't complain TOO much about your back yet... hit a proper pose and I'm sure it will look MUCH better.

Posing is WAY too important to overlook when critiquing your body.

pu the camera in your right hand and flare your left lat. then put the camera in your left hand and flare your right lat.

you cant flare the lat when your holding the camera.

lol no you didnt.

in the 2nd picture your left arm is doing a rear double bicep pose. and your right arm is holding the camera.

here is what a lat pose looks like:

now take the camera in one of your hands and take the picture, and keep the other one on your waist and bring your elbow toward the front.

Whew! All the camera's, posing, trick snap-shots, mirrors, etc.....

To much work to be a bodybuilder......:D
