But I have no earthly what they deleted? My avatar is still there, the two pics that I had in my gallery are still there. I'm clueless as to what the message is for. I don't see the avi that I have being offending.

i got same message about my new avatar all traps. i know it is kind of cloudy but i didn't think it was THAT bad where it should be deleted. i came on EF and it was still there.

call me stupid (but please, don't call me late for dinner), but i had to keep shrinking this pic to make it fit into the 100x100 dimensions to fit it into the avatar space. is there is a way to resize a pic and keep the clarity when you make it much smaller? my abs look much better when the pic is clear.

you can get a program called power toys for windows xp, right from the windows web site. all you do is right click any impage on your HD, and it asks how small you want it

Just a hint... only admins (i.e.... George, BRR, Logician) can delete avatars. So getting into an upload/deleting match with anyone of them wouldn't be a great idea.

George just had a thread on here last week saying that he didn't want any avatar on here that showed vaginas. He wasn't in a particular good mood about it, so be careful.

Or it could be some hacker attack. But none of you who got this message have weird or sexual avatars, so I don't think it has anything to do with your avatar. It's either a glitch or a personal attack. Not the avatar. And nothing appears to happen to your avatar to us; it's always visible without a break.

i think those of us who got the message were people who happened to post an avatar in a certain time window. i agree with majutsu, it is a glitch.

To everyone who got this message recently (in the last 2-3 days):

Please feel free to reupload your deleted image if you like to. As a matter of fact your avatar was not deleted, it was just its mirror file in our gallery which was got deleted. The reason of deletion was technical. To be more specific one of our scripts was not thumbnailing them well so I deleted the badly thumbnailed images. The problem is fixed now and you can reupload them to your gallery if you like. Your avatars were intact anyway.

PS. If certain members avatars were deleted by other admins due to other reasons, my message obviously does not cover them. My message applies to people who had recently changed their avatars, got the message above but had their avatars intact although the mirror file in gallery got deleted.
