My 6-8 week Cutting Plan

I plan on entering a 6-8 week cutting phase to hopefully drop some bf and lose the little left on my college gut before I start bulking. Appreciate any suggestions/comments.
I work out early in the morning, around 5:30 am.

Pre w/o: 2 ECA
Post w/o: 1 scoop Protein
2 tsp. glutamine
Meal 1: 1 cup oatmeal
2 Splenda
1/2 cup lo-carb syrup
Multi-vit, glucosamine, 5 flax pills
Meal 2: 1 chix breast
1 cup broccoli
Meal 3: 1 can tuna
1 tbsp. flax oil
glucosamine
2 ECA
Meal 4: 2 tbsp. ANPB
Meal 5: 1 cup egg whites
glucosamine
Meal 6: 1 scoop protein
1 tbsp. flax oil
2 tsp. glutamine

Totals: 1542 cal, 80 carb, 180 pro, 62.5 fat

The glucosamine is in pill form and an experiment to help aid an injury. I typically would keep carbs as close to zero as possible, but I figure I will give this a try.
 
lol! maybe I wasn't clear and maybe I am a little off in my measurement. the syrup will be mixed in with the oatmeal. I have yet to try it since I just bought it today, so I ballparked it. 1/2 cup is probably high though.

I weigh between 173-176. Haven't weighed myself in a week and probably gained a few.

Ok good, I was just checking your weight, making sure you didn't weigh 225 and were only gonna eat 1500 cals/day.

I am near your weight, and just finished a cutting phase with an EXTREMEMLY similary diet to what you're using, lost 10 pounds and from what I can tell it was 90% fat loss. I think you will do great with that if you are consistent.

P.S. don't forget to have a cheat meal once or twice per week to keep you sane :)

thanks bro. From what I can tell, I am right where I need to be in relation to my BMR for fat loss. The only cheat meal I will allow is a steak with a glass of red wine once a week. I have tried to allow myself to cheat more (ice cream, italian sub) and found it hurt me more than kept me sane!

Pre w/o: 2 ECA

I might add some ALCAR and green tea extract in here as it is a very nice addition to an EC stack. Which ECA are you taking? You might be better off with an EYC stack (ephedrine HCL, yohimbine HCL and caffeine) at a 25mg: 5mg; 200mg respective dosing per serving

Post w/o: 1 scoop Protein
2 tsp. glutamine

This is a great place to get your carbs in. I'm a big fan of dextrose/maltodextin/oats PWO with whey, but everyone is different. I'd also raise your protein to 2 scoops (45g).

Meal 1: 1 cup oatmeal
2 Splenda
1/2 cup lo-carb syrup
Multi-vit, glucosamine, 5 flax pills

Throw in a protein source here (egg whites, chicken breast, fish, etc). 1/2 cup low carb syrup seems excessive, but that's my opinion

Meal 2: 1 chix breast
1 cup broccoli

Possibly add some healthy fats here like olive oil, flax oil, etc

Meal 3: 1 can tuna
1 tbsp. flax oil
glucosamine
2 ECA

Solid

Meal 4: 2 tbsp. ANPB

Meal 5: 1 cup egg whites
glucosamine

Add some healthy fats in here

Meal 6: 1 scoop protein
1 tbsp. flax oil
2 tsp. glutamine

Add another scoop of protein here. If this is your bedtime protein, try to get a blend (casein, egg, etc)

Totals: 1542 cal, 80 carb, 180 pro, 62.5 fat

I think your overall calories are too low. Shoot for 10x calories/bodyweight minimum. You'll be accounting for quiet a bit of muscle loss at your current cal intake :(
