all u guys who listen to metal in the gym are either just really dumb or young kids.

Good call.

I especially like how your opinion is fortified and reinforced with hard, empirical proof and objective thinking. Also, your methods in using real-world examples to illustrate your well thought-out stance on the subject is mind boggling.

Kudos! :)

X Factor was good, for certain types of songs Bayley was pretty good. Bruce Dickinson's stuff away from Iron Maiden was good too. Chemical Wedding was a great album, Balls to Picasso was....ok. The group Dio was good but all their songs sounded the same. Iced Earth is a very good group, they sound alot like Iron Maiden.

Actually, I loved X-Factor. Fortunes of War is a great track.

Iron Maiden is classic shit but nothing comes close to old Metallica.

On the thread, my gym mainly plays dance.

To Jeremy21:

I agree Maiden blows away Metallica - but about Blaze Bailey, nobody could be as good as Bruce for Maiden, still the X-Factor was a very good album and Blaze does alright on it, different to Bruce but still good.

hardgainer (rockin' on)

NO CHANCE PAL, metallica rule...iron maiden are cheesy, screechy fools.

um, ok slipknot are'nt nu metal. oh, no thats right, THEY ARE!
i cant stand this nu metal, no talent shit...metallica rule the training world, every gym should play metallica!

I agree Metallica does rule, but to say SlipKnot is 'no talent shit' is beyond ignorance. Have you heard them? Have you heard their new album? One of their biggest influences happens to be Metallica just so you know. Heck it was probably even Metallica that started SlipKnot's guitarists using EMG 81 pickups.

My point is dont diss SlipKnot, theres alot of effort thats gone into the making of their albums, and i hope that you are basing your analysis on the band as a whole and not just the singing.

eg- metallica, g n r, bon jovi..???

The new Metallica sux!!!
And Justice for all and before was cool their new shit is weak. But not as weak as G-n-R or Bon-bon Jovi.

Does anyone like Fear Factory I think Obsolete was their best.
