my left tricep wont stop spazing out.. Its fucking weird I didn't even train them too hard today.. Whats going on

I used to have spasms on my wrists, and I think it was from lack of sodium or salt. I hate salty foods, and don't eat a lot of them. So I started putting salt on everything to see if it would work and it did. You might want to try eating more salt. =)

The same damn thing happens to me too. It seems to happen at the worst times. I get it in my forearm and bicep. The thing that sucks the most is I am an Electrician and it happens when I am normally working on something that is energized and that I cant shut off. Think someone is trying to tell me something????

I get muscle twitches in my calves, triceps and for some reason my eyelids when I start to get dehydrated.

The eye thing is particularly nice in meetings. They think you are winking at them.

I've been lit up like a blinking Christmas tree since mid-Dec. Started on my left distal quad then spread everywhere, mostly legs, some upper body tris and eyelids along with some spasms. Has me worried because my uncle died of ALS (Lou Gherig's) years ago, but no other family history.

My doc can't find anything wrong and there's no functional problems or weakness so they doubt it is ALS nor does ALS start that way. None-the-less, it is stressful. It may be benign fasciculation syndrome and I'll have to live with it.

wilson 6,
Your problem sounds like BFS. Since your doctor has ruled out ALS he has probably ruled out potassium deficiency as well. I have had this BFS for about 7 years Scared the hell out of my at time I thought is was Parkinsons or something,(Micheal J Fox had just came out with his revelation). There is some good info on the web about BFS but the most important thing is ... It will not harm you but it WILL annoy you. You may find that the twitches will center in one area for days or they may be random all over. You may even have some tingling in your extremities. But It was such a nothing problem that the nuerologist I saw seemed kind of bored when he diagnosed it ( it took about 2 minutes to ID this thing)

PS Lifting weights helps keep the twitches down as least it does for me

Peace
