Muscle Milk VS. Cassein Protein.

I was reading the Lable of Muscle Milk and it has Sat Fat and other stuff in it. Does Cassein have anything besides Cassein? Because I get my ratios in.

what do you guys recomend for Morning and Night Meals. Im on a mini bulker right now so im getting my cals up for the big deal.

I used to have whey + Milk in the monring, the milk should slower the digestion rate, but i want stuff that DEF takes long to digest.

Any Suggestions...

casein protein is a type of protein - so it is just that, casein. Muscle Milk is a product with casein in it (i think?) as one of it's ingredients.

casein protein is good in the morning and the night because it stays in your system the longest - digesting the slowest - keeping you're levels even.

Casein is made from milk -
1 cup is usually 8 grams of protein and 130 cals @ 2%. So if you're bulking you could do:
3 cups on waking and 3 cups before bed totalling -
48 grams of protein (80% caseinate)
780 calories

And if you're "mini bulking" you'll only have to do some "mini cutting" with maybe 10 - 20 minutes of "mini cardio" to knock the fat off. :RADAR

good advice Thanks!

I went out and bought muscle milk as a meal replacement, actually tastes good. Seen preety good results, nothing crazy, might work might now, im in MID bulk, so im not fully bulking yet, but im not cutting so i dont know how good it would be for "CUTTING" cutting if ya know what i mean,

Muscle milk may be best utilized pre bed. There can be an argument made to use it other times, like pre workout. This is due to the MCT's. But I would definitely not use it post workout.

By the way, the reason casein is a slow protein...it actually gels/ coagulates in the stomach upon digestion. This insures a slow release of amino acids into the bloodstream.

I would like to add that not only does it gel but it also contains casomorphins, which are opiates, which slow digestion in the intestines.
