Muscle Milk lilght? your thoughts...k to all

I saw that a couple of you guys don't get GI distress from it, the funny thing is that MuscleMilk gave me serious bloat and gas LOL!
 
You should try the EAS myoplex RTD's original. 42g Protien and taste great. Great meal replacement and good mix of protien with low fat/carbs.
 
Muscle is okay protein -- not the best, not the worst. MonsterMilk is pretty good for bulking. I get the feeling they were trying to copy BIG BLAST with that one, but, no super plamsa serum, so it's not quite in the same league.

I'll confess, I use the MM banana now and then because they really got that flavor down. Other than that, the Tropical orange, double chocolate, Fruit punch, banana and upcoming "Cinnamon Coffee Cake Flavor, BIG BLAST keeps me more than happy in the taste department.

I used to like the Weider Mega Mass chocolate but it was like 20 grams of protein and 135 grams of carbs from sugar!. LOL!

I'm a big believer that something can't just be good stats, it has to taste good. But there's no sense getting good tasting crap. The name of the game is protein, and not just cheap junk. You might as well make it something special. with BIG BLAST I get the best of both. If you're going to use a standard whey protein, I recommend adding some GEAR to kick it up a few notches.

I like muscle milk light... I really love big blast the best... But I wish they would sell a version without rilose that I could use on a cut. I just can't justify spending my carbs on rilose when I am cutting... I'd rather get my carbs from whole food sources when cutting. They should make a big blast light or big blast precontest without the rilose.

The rilose serves a few purposes, but mostly it's a big factor in the taste. Hey, Muscle Milk Light contains maltodextrin, which is the crappiest carb you can eat! Granted, it's only 11 grams, but BIG BLAST only has 11 more grams of carbs (from a superior source) than that so the difference is next to nothing.

Add some GEAR to MM ligh and it'll get closer to a "big blast lite." But you'll also lose the whole egg, which is , ironically, what makes the amino acid content in BIG BLAST closer to that of human mothers milk!

right now, post workout... I use syntrax matrix (protein blend), 5g of super plasma protein, 5g of added whole egg protein, and 10 caps of gear.

So you add the SPS and whole egg to the Syntrrax? That's pretty good. Though the syntrax is whey concentrate, which is only 75% useable protein. (CW isolate is 95%) So adding the extras, plus GEAR is a smart idea.
