Apparently, MTV is getting too much heat about kids going out and trying the stunts so they started cutting bits out of the show. Seems MTV is cutting too much material out, so the guys are calling it quits.
MTV's "Jackass" has come to an end.

I'm hoping that if this is true, that MTV will see that this show has more of a fan base than they realized and will come to some sort of arrangement.
I can't believe the guys are done with this thing though. If MTV won't accept their material, then hopefully comedy central or even HBO would pick them up. Probably not...oh well, I was just wishful thinking.

I saw the premiere. If I recall correctly, that was the one with the porta-potty and the shopping cart from Hell, right?
It only took one show to make me stop watching. When I want to watch grown men make monkey asses of themselves, I just come here and read RyanH's posts. =) (come on ryanh, smile, you know that one was too ez

The article said the show that aired Sunday was the last one of the season. So the season is technically already over. MTV says they will air the reruns but they will be heavily edited. Too bad, the stun gun, pepper spray and tazer skit was quite funny and I would've liked to see it again.
MTV sucks anyhow. All they do is show those stupid fucking shows like realworld. When was the last time you turned it on and saw a music video? What happened to the days of "Headbangers Ball", "120 Minutes", and "Yo MTV Raps"?

They have already done it greenhill. I saw it Monday night. It just amazes me that do gooders already have started editing the show. PARENTS should be the ones to keep their kids from doing what will hurt them, not what the kids DON'T see on TV. Very sad situation...

The funniest thing I have seen in a long time was on 60 minutes (That or the nbc show) anyways, a bunch of teenage boys got together with a camcorder, lighter fluid, and a lighter. They doused this kid with the fluid and while he's laughing they light him up.
So this kid is running around in circles on fire screaming and then makes a b-line for the pool and jumps in. I swear you could even hear the sizzle when he hit the water.
That was friggin hilarious! Natural Selection,etc. the evolution of the species, I'm sorry but these kids were old enough to know better and even on Jackass they wear protective items during stunts like that. That kid deserved what he got IMO. Jackass can't be blamed for stuff like that.
I'm sick of all the censorship that goes on. In some ways we are as backwards as the friggin Taliban in Afghanistan.
